Cool. He's not all that bad looking, but I probably won't get him. I'll make my final decision when I see him in person.
Plus some sweet poses and headshots for Starscream, Ratchet, Ironhide, and Blackout. I hope everyone can see where Ironhide's eyes are now. I don't care what anyone says, I like Scorponok. Better that he transforms into that robot mode than none at all. With all those stamps, it looks like he assimilates some pieces from the military base. (Please, no one spoil me with bits from the leaked script.)
On one hand I like it, on the other I dont. But I'f I can find it for cheap I'll get a few for a Blackout armada.
-_- Bah! I am no purist, and the whole "the faces suck" thing never happened to me, but now I protest. To transform, he just stands up and puts his head to his chest? I know a lot of people will still like him, but in my book, Scorponok's movie figure makes him look like a ******icon.
Love the scorpion mode, especially the writing detail around the head. Sure the robot is a little goofy, but it was probably only cobbled into the toy design to justify the "Transformers" tag on the package. I don't think we'll be seeing it in the movie that way.....
I like him and I'll buy him. He's definitely not my least favorite design. Jazz still holds that spot!
Very nice scorpin mode!I really like all the details over the figure. I may buy it even the robot mode looks really stupid.
If he doesn't transform in the movie, I don't see why the toy had to transform. Luckily, the transformation is so lame that it doesn't really take away from the scorpion mode.
If 'Mom' buys little 'Timmy' a TF toy and when he gets it home it doesn't transform, just imagine the stink he'd kick up (and she may ask for her money back on the grounds of misrepresentation!)
Is it just me or has nobody figured out yet that Deluxe Scorponok combines with Blackout in vehicle mode (similarly to Energon Bulkhead and his walker)? There are two pegs and a geared female connector on the bottom of Blackout's vehicle mode (I'm told), and there are two obvious peg holes on and a bronze geared male connector on the top of Scorponok's beast mode. Presumebly when you press the button for Blackout's rotors to spin, Scorponok's pincers and the circular things in his body spins, too.
I think they could have skipped trying to make a bot mode for Skorponok and instead just make a bigass electronic scorpion. Therefore there should be no whinning from kids because it doesnt transform because there to busy paying attention to the lights and sounds of LEADER SKORPONOK!!!!! I love his alt mode BTW
