"Alas, poor Scrapper, I knew him..."

Well, I made 2 non-detailed heads and had Shapeways create them. As basic as they are, it was still cool to open and see the fruits of my laboring (and, ohhh, how I labored, lol).

I just need to sculpt the rest of Scrapper's face and fix a few minor details. This might be easier (and quicker) than the tedious task of learning these 3D programs. But, hey, I did this much so far! It's definetly easier than sculpting it from scratch!

Here, my Wasp WIP is showing off the Animated Cliffjumper head and a custom WIP CJ head I'm working on. The WIP CJ is sculpted over a Bumblebee head, so I'm pretty happy with how the Shapeways head came out size and shapewise.

Animated Kup and Hound are hanging in the back, no doubt discussing the new glitch-head in charge, Sentinel Magnus.

Looking good so far. I like the Kup head. Any chance of getting a closer look?

Nice, I'm kinda surprised Shapeways allowed the pointy horns on Cliffjumper to pass. I always figured structures like that will be rejected because of fragility, so thanks for proving me wrong!

Opens up a lot of opportunities for design...

These look great, especially Wasp. Is that through shapeways as well?

I'm really digging your CJ head, but Kups head looks like it's a little big for his body. Could just be the angle. Any chance of a front shot?

Yeah, and those horns are STRONG and even a bit sharp, err, pointy.

Heh heh, his head isn't made yet, so I just popped the gun in the neck hole. It's not permanent.

Thanks! Wasp is another sculpted-over Bumblebee head. I do have a Wasp head, but I am having issues saving it/exporting it. I must have some holes in it somewhere, but I'll be darned if I know where. If anyone wants to take a look at it and fix it, I'd appreciate it!

It is too big. I started by sculpting over the OP head, and the end result was this. I plan on trying to make a Shapeways head in a smaller size but still following the DJW art (so he can transform easier) or molding and reducing this one with Hydroshrink.

Sure. It's still rough. I sprayed it with Primer to see my flaws, so I still have some sanding to do...

Wasp and Cliffjumper look really good! So does Kup, but his head is a tad oversized.

Thanks man, I got a new head coming for Kup from Shapeways! (you can see it here: Shapeways | joelklase's designs )

It should be in within a few days. I will swap out the BIG head for the smaller one I had made. I'll share results soon.
