Man, I just saw the preview pictures of Toy Biz latest line-up and I can't help but rave about them! Being an avid comic book fan, the line-ups looks very decent and the sculpt is so much better compared to Hasbro ML! Characters I will be most definately getting will be Conan and Judge Dredd! Will anyone here collecting them? I can understand if there's a lack of interest as most of these characters are not as popular as the characters of Marvel or DC

Check out the link below for more pictures!

I've never been hyped out for a toy-line in such a long time!

I'll be buying the 2000AD characters, but I haven't a clue who any of the others are (except for Marv). Dredd looks pretty good, if that's an accurate representation of the final product.

I might think about Dredd and Death if I see them cheap, but i'd give a kidney for Nemesis and ABC Warriors if they did them.

I'm still waiting for proper Mirage-style TMNT figures as well, althougth I doubt that will ever happen.

So far only ones i'm looking foward to are Super Patriot Marv and possibly Dread and the Conan Waarl two pack(depends on what Dread looks like in person and well only reason i'd really want the Conan pack is for Waarl and to let HML1 Hercules beat down Conan :p  )

You may want to put one of those kidneys aside, you know, just in case...

Count me as one of the collectors for that line. Toybiz did an excellent job with ML (QC issues aside) and I can't wait for figures like Darkness and Dredd to hit the stores.

Hmmm, I'm kind of worried for this line because I realise that most people only recognize Dredd and Conan if maybe the Savage Dragon...beyond that...the rest of the line-up can be pretty obscure.

i agree. for people who don't know the "indy" comics it can be obscure. im not to sure how many people here have played the game heroclix. but the short lived indy clix had potentail but was cut after the first line. i just loved the mix of dc/marvel/ and indy guys. im just hoping that i see a maxx come out some time soon with some others that are legands style.

I remember most of those guys from when I was into comics...they look really cool and true to the characters....but are any of them poseable? I'm having a hard time seeing many joints in most of the figures...I hope TB isn't going the McFarlane Toys "Statue 'Action' Figure" route. Part of what was so cool about the ML series is the amount of articulation.

I believe the toys will have some articulation but maybe the basic minimum. Example, neck, elbows, knees etc.

I won't mind if the number of articulation is reduced as long as they're not like Spawn toys. Too many joints can make a toy less appealing to look at IMO.

Um, those kick ass, even if they only have basic articulation.

It looks like they've got a nice balance of sculpt/articulation to me. Quite nice!

Remember though guys those aren't final versions(they don't even come out til Aug or a little before) they could look worse/better at release(hope Witch Blade gets some better eyes, not likeing the sleep/drowsy look she has going)

And what i said earlier, i take back, i'll only pick up Marv and Super Patriot for sure while Witch Blade is a good chance if she looks good at release, and the sculpts aren't any better/worse then the HML1 figs(TB sculpted those too sheesh)

And yeah, this line will either be a hit or flop because most people may not know the characters.

Oh and i'm still more excited for what ML has to come(i want MOST of HML2 and if the HML3 line up turns out true most of it, and of course most of the FF wave if they are good versions and most of the Spidey wave if they turn out good)

Oh and i wouldn't worry about articulation, i doubt its going anywhere, one of em even uses the Bullseye mold from the looks of it so yeah, i doubt much if any will be lost(some may be cause oil prices will still prolly get to TB just as it did with MLs)

The Dredd is awesome. Partly due to the fact that I thought they'd never make a Judge Dredd figure like that. The rest is due to the fact that Dredd is just plain cool. ^_^

I wouldn't call Image 'indy.' What about Spawn? Savage Dragon had his own tv show for crying out loud.

    Superpatriot is puny. I'm disappointed.
