At the end of the month, our area is holding The National Peanut Festival, and i have been thinking about going. I am hoping the temperature plummets in time this year because i love nothing more than eating a steaming sausage dog to warm me up on the Fairgrounds. well, are there any local Fairs or Carnivals or Festivals going on that you are planning to attend and what about it has you interested? (i would say concerts, but this year, our line up is kinda weak.) Grab a Funnel Cake and share with us!
Indeed, I've gone to a few here in Wisconsin, but it's too late for that now. Might check out an Oktoberfest, but that's more like a beer tent without the carnival.

Well, i was hoping to learn about any fairs from anywhere. we have fairs here because the heat's finally gone and it can be pleasant. Like Sunday just ended a Shrimp Festival in Panama City. i'm a bit late for some areas, but still, wanna know what kinds of fairs there are. wish we had Renaissance Festivals or things like that. We have Rattlesnake Rodeos, Chitlin Festival, Tomato Festival...but they are really small affairs compared to the peanut festival.
Don't forget the 33rd Annual Boggy Bayou Mullet Festival this weekend with musical guest Billy Ray Cyrus! Lord how I wish I was joking.
Our town has the worlds 3rd largest street festival (behind Mardi Gras in Rio and New Orleans) last week. I passed though.
