I have one on the way, I'm pretty excited. It'll replace my 1/48 Super Max Jen in my collection (I only want 1 Yamato jet to go with the Konig Monster and the Garland). After watching the video review, I had to have one. I like the design better, it looks fairly challenging to transform.

Where'd you buy it from? And do you have a link to the video review?

I think one guy on macrossworld.com is selling his MISB for $180 shipped in the US, that's a pretty good price!

I have one and it's sitting in my case next to 1/48 VF-1S and 1/60 VF-0S Roy.

I've bought two Yamato valkyries before, and I wouldn't want to do it again.

They're beautiful yes, but they're so fragile, man. I'm afraid my VF-0 will break if I stare at it too long. I'm afraid to even take it out of its box.

I've got the VF-19. I like it better than the Zero. More atypical transformation, and less nagging problems with joint looseness and such. And thank god for palm pegs. Makes holding the Gunpod so much more stable than the previous hand design.

There's a bit of difficulty with transforming the nosecone area, though, specifically where you're supposed to swing the cockpit back along the fuselage. It pegs together pretty tight, to the point where, in some cases, it's almost impossible to actually separate the cockpit. In which case, you might need to unscrew it and shave down some of the connecting pegs with a sharp knife.

You can dig around on the Macross World forums for more info.

Finally received it this morning from A3U (along with SOC GX-35). I like it wayyyyyy better than my old VF-1J Super Max. Transformation is incredible, so much stuff going on. Too bad it doesn't have more die-cast. Had no QC issues whatsoever. I was surprised by the color though, I was expecting something whiter, but I like it as it is. Pretty good poseability too. Pretty happy with my purchase!

I love how the head sculpt looks like Guyver.

If it was a modded Cyclonus head with a faceplate, sure, why not? With the human face, though, nah, don't see it. The body is proportioned very differently than a human's, it would mesh well with a human face. It'll make it look creepy and alien (and not in a good Transformers Movie way).

I've transformed and posed it a couple times (the one posed in the display case at Ages Three and Up's real store was done by yours truly). It's a really awesome toy. Although I think I'll hold off for the Fast Pack bundle set. Hopefully they'll fix the crooked gunpod and make the landing gears able to angle out like they seem to be designed for on the second edition.

It is a friggin NASTY figure. One of my favorites for sure. Its amazingly accurate. It just looks completely deisel with the rest of my Yamatos. eagerly awaiting some repaints and praying daily for the YF-21.

So that was you I was chatting with in the shop last night :D .

As for the landing gear, after testing mine out, I found that they are movable. I don't know what it is, if the paint was really thick there or if it's just really thin plastic, but if you force the landing gear just a little pit, it'll actually force open the hole, with no actual damage to the pieces.

I've been wanting to pick one up. Got the 0A awhile back and, stupid cracked shoulder aside, love it to pieces. I have a Stealth VF-1J in the mail, looks incredible. THe YF-19 is, hopefully, next on my want list. Any ideas when/if the second production run is going to come out?
