Or maybe when you feel like your just one of them, with them being the members of TFW2005

This. And I don't think it depends on the time of you being active in a board that makes you a noob or not. Imagine all the people who know everything about Transformers but don't register ever on a forum. Will they ever be noobs? Doubt it.

    Reminds me of this :D

Honestly....I don't know what GACA was until I google searched it. I'm pretty sure the definition in the urban dictionary was what it means :D

When you stop using text speak, and use the emoticon tags instead.

Nah. It's quicker for me to just type "LOL" instead of figuring out what goes after the colon for the smilies.

Like someone said earlier, when you think before you type.

That's a bit unfair. English is not the first language of everyone on this site, so it's harder for them to get things like spelling and grammar correct all the time.

    For me, it's when you:
    - stop trying to become "known"
    - use proper punctuation, capitalization, spelling, etc.
    - make sense
    - host your own pictures
    - don't keep asking stupid questions
    - think
    - post to express your thoughts, not just for the sake of posting
    - show respect
    - use emoticons sparingly and purposely

English is an awful language anyway. Contradicting rules, differing pronunciations for similar letter groupings, words sounding alike but spelled different. Then you get all the Canadians throwing 'U's everywhere, like in "colour" and "mould."

Since I'm on this tangent, "they're" and "you're" aren't pronounced like "there" and "your."

Actually the 'U's are correct. Since English English predates American English, it is technically 'colour' not 'color'.

I never said the 'u's were incorrect. It was a bit of humour.

I like english. But what drives me crazy and I cannot understand is, how people, whose first language is english, cannot write "would've" or "should've" but instead write "would of" and "should of" which does not make any sense at all. How can someone, who speaks foremost english, make such a mistake when even someone who learned english as second language knows this? how?!? Do people not notice what they say and what they were actually about to say?

Don't want to sound like a dick, but it is really strange for me when I thought I might probably learn something, when I write in an english language forum and then realize that my english is partially better than the english of some native speakers...
