So, what's the truth on Bumblebee?

    Originally, we were told that VW put the kibash on using a VW Bug / Beetle as Bumblebee.

    And we bought it.

    Then recently, in light of these "leaked" (I doubt that) images, there arose a new explanation behind the Camaro: that the vehicle mode was changed because of design reasons.

    So, I wonder what the real- honest- reason is.

    Not that it matters; either way, we were spoon fed some bs that some kool-aid drinkers will happily consume.

    this goes back to DW and GM finding out what they can and cant use and what profile they would have..the Camaro was a huge push in GM and I think DW was not sure if they were using a Camaro till last year..but I think these cars were locked up for some time..

    That, and we know that there was an alt Bumblebee as a VW designed at one point, and I don't think they'd scrap that if they didn't have too.
