I don't know if this was discussed already, but what comes after Cybertron/Galaxy Force? Since Cybertron is coming to an end soon shouldn't there be some info on the next series? Or is everything being focused on the movie right now?

Just to clarify, I was talking about the cartoons, not the toys.

At Botcon last year Hasbro told us there won't be another new cartoon until very late 2007 or early 2008. They want the movie to be the focus, with Classics filling the gap for toys between when Cybertron ends and the movie begins.

Cybertron Repaints, Remoulds for the next 6 months, (as well as Titanium) and then Classics until the movie begins is the most logical path to take. And perhaps 1 or 2 Alternators will be released during that time.

If we're lucky they might be able to get G1 reruns on the air somewhere, since that'd help sell the Classics line. Plus it'd just be cool as hell. :)

We're only looking at a little gap, and there're still toys coming out in the meantime. If Hasbro plays this smart, they'll replay G1 somewhere (preferably not cartoon network).

If they were really smart, they'd start bringing over all the Japanese episodes and use that for more Classics fodder; though this would actually be more of a universe-style supplement to the movie mainline and any following new cartoons. But hey, it'd give us a chance for new versions of some of the stuff you know we won't ever see in Classics otherwise.

Let's see toy wise; already getting a masterpeice starscream, classics soundwave, possible alternators megatron... I think that was my dream list right there. Anything can come after that and I'd be fine.

I think the next show will be the typical "box office movie tie in cartoon" type show. Something like what the US Godzilla or more recently King Kong received. Of course, the production values and tie in merchandise would hopefully be that bit better. So maybe it'll be more of a "following the overall idea of the movie, but in its own continuity" like X-Men Evolution was to the first X-Men movie.

Really and truely, though, its anyones guess. I'd at the least expect the movie cast to play a big role in the next show, since they'd be the ones in the forefront of the public's mind.

As I recall, Action Blast on G4 said they would be playing the "best of" G1. Fallowing the patern, I just assumed it was going to be in support of the Classics line.
