A Masterpiece being exclusive to SDCC would be crazy-expensive... and thus, most likely impossible. Hasbro charged more for their SDCC Alts and Menasor than their retail prices, probably due to the much smaller number of figures produced. A production run of that small a size, for a Masterpiece? Gah. I could see Hasbro doing a blue Rumble as Frenzy, throwing the RIBFIR guys a bone in the process. Probably a couple other Alt possibilities as well, and I would love the idea of finally releasing WW Skywarp (and he'd match with the two Nemmy Prime exclusives and Titanium Menasor!). Maybe an Animated exclusive, but I doubt that.
I'm surprised that nothing has come out yet, usually this close to the con we would have seen an ebay auction or something. Maybe more will come out of botcon
I still am hoping on a blue alt. civic. call him whatever you want, as long as that means I don't have to go through the hassle of repainting the second one I bought.
Will Nemmy Prime be available on Hasbro's site like the other figures have been? I can't get the BotCon figure so I'd like to get this one....
Seems the guys in Hong Kong are more interested in getting their hands on Animated and Botcon stuff to sell for the moment.

If exclusive busts are sold for $70 at SDCC, an exclusive $60 figure can be marked up to $70. The development costs will be very low- it's just Starscream in blue, possibly with the Skywarp head. All molds exist, and the color scheme will be easy to develop. Note that the exclusives will also be sold at HTS. In addition to strong American demand for Thundercracker, Asian collectors who purchased MP-03 and MP-06 will want the figure as well, driving up sales.
I wonder if they're not saying anything about their other TFs because they're planning on having an Animated toy as an Exclusive, and the line hasn't officially launched yet? Perhaps something like an Animated Sunstorm, or some other Starscream repaint? Or better yet, an Animated Voyager Nemesis Prime? Just thinking about that possibility makes my loins damp. ...hmm, actually, I wouldn't be surprised if we get that at next year's SDCC.
We didn't really hear bupkiss about last year or the year before that's exclusives for SDCC this early. I think we finally found out some stuff in May or early early June. Sure we found out about Nemesis early this year, but that doesn't mean we'll findout about a possible second exclusive (if there is one) this early.
Producing a smaller number of figures increases the price of an item dramatically. SDCC Alts are usually twice the price then what they sell for in stores, and you can expect the same if they did a masterpiece figure. My guess, blue civic alt, it'd be stupid not to.
