Hammett is awesome. Raymond Chandler is another. just because the old stuff was cheap to produce and lots of it were produced doesn't mean that it wasn't great stuff.

found an anthology of stories from Weird Tales magazine i am reading.
original Robert E. Howard, early Asimov, and a couple Lovecraft pieces.
that's what i am reading now.

I'm halfway through Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

Interesting thing is, from every movie I have seen I almost forgot everything from Goblet of Fire and the following movies.

Somethings I remember in the books, but most seems completely new, anyway the books are much better than the movies!

I imagine some things completely differently as I've seen them before in the movies.

Just started reading Metro 2033. After Metro 2033 game caught my attention, I've started looking for the book, tried various hubs on DC++ searching for an ebook, to no avail.

I read that Metro 2033 game was supposed to be followed with an english print of the book, so I was surprised to see that there was nothing. I only found a fan translated first 3 chapters of the book (pretty good translation actualy, much better than google translate).

I was even more surprised when after 2 weeks I stumbled on it on a local publisher's website, and the issue was dated from last year! After a week it came and I was - WOOHOO!!

(god damn it, PO service is mighty slow these days, I guess they want people to use express mail)

Very good book, totaly worth 10 euroes I payed for it.

I finished Fablehaven: Grip of the Shadow Plague. Any one read these? Is it just Utah and their LDS writers?

I'm also reading Weird U.S. and Weird U.S. : The ODDyssey Continues

Also finished reading Watchmen again. Also started reading it again. Also about 40 pages of the first Ironman movie novel.

I'm about halfway through The Count of Monte Cristo. It's one of my favorite books and I found a new translation of it a few months ago and am really digging it. It's almost like reading it for the first time all over again.
