Transformers The Movie (2007) Voyager Starscream has gotten a lot of use: (Not listed in release-order) 1. Voyager Starscream 2. G1 Colors Starscream (Target Exclusive) 3. G1 Colors-ish Thundercracker 4. G1 Colors Skywarp (Walmart Exclusive) 5. G1 Colors Ramjet (Walmart Exclusive) 6. "Shiny Silver" (forgot official name) Starscream 7. Nebular "Minty" Starscream (Kmart Exclusive)
Nebular Starscream used the RotF version of the mold so he's a different toy entirely. But you're right on Starcream from 2007. There's also the red "Vaio" HD-DVD Starscream that was exclusive to an expensive DVD player to add to your list. Also, all three Autobot Car Brothers got a fair amount of reuses. Side Burn and Prowl especially, Prowl trumps the lot when you take in the fact he was never remolded like Side Burn was: CR Mach Alert CR Super Mach Alert CR Clear Mach Alert RiD Prowl RiD Super Prowl OTFCC Sunstreaker OTFCC Sideswipe Universe Inferno I'm sure I'm forgetting one... CR Speedbreaker CR Super Speedbreaker CR Clear Speedbreaker RiD Side Burn RiD Super Side Burn OTFCC Roulette OTFCC Shadow Striker Universe Side Burn Again, I'm sure there was a second Universe one... X-Brawn also had a similar amount of reuses, except he never got used for Botcon so there's only six versions of him VS eight for the other two.
I edited my original post to remove Battle Blades Bumblebee. Sadly it never registered with me that he's a new mold; anymore, I just see Camaro Bumblebee as a blob of yellow and black. However, I added "Bombing Run Battle" Bumblebee, the new Wal-Mart exclusive that comes with Legends Blackout and is a redeco of "Cannon" Bumblebee. I knew I'd been forgetting one. Good to know. Like I said, all the Bumblebees kinda run together after a while, and I didn't realize he had no differences. Still, I left him on the list for completeness' sake. It is another time the mold was sold, and for me, that makes it noteworthy, at least, when looking at it from a completionist perspective.
Question. Why do people keep calling Starscream's Ghost as a repaint, when it's not painted? But it's actually molded in clear plastic? How is that a repaint? I'm confused by this. Or is it just something the fans have called it even though it's not technically accurate?
That one. It's a redeco, which most people use to mean the same thing. Not to harp on it, but to me a redeco is something done by HasTak. A repaint is something done by a customizer, or Radicon on this site.
Don't forget Mini-Cons/Microns many of them have multiple redecos. The Mini-con Prowl has 9 versions I know of.
its clearly one of the seeker molds as mentioned. its not Bumblebee, his molds are all somewhat diff, and they are not even close to Seeker's numbers.
