Is it more based on the Transformers movies because Optimus and Bumblebee they look alot like what they did in the Transformers movies while Starscream got changed to look different for the Transformers Prime cartoon show

While Prime has some visual cues from the movie-verse, it is not connected to it at all. Prime is in Hasbro's new aligned continuity, which also contains WfC, FoC, Exodus, and Exiles.

It's based more off of Exodus from what I can tell. Still reading Exiles, so not sure about any tie-ins to that.

It's its own thing utilizing elements from many different sources. It, as said, follows the broad story bible of the aligned continuity.

However, it does not fit in with WFC. The stories cannot be reconciled to fit together, despite similarities. Like Ryoku said, it follows a general story outline that has common roots with WFC, but is its own thing.

It is essentially Movie-enough, TFA-enough, WFC-enough, and Exodus and whatever-enough to be the basic mainline brand.

Ya know, I've said for a while that I think that Transformers: Prime is sort of where all things Transformers come together. They've got nods to so many different versions of Transformers.
