Back in April there was an announcement from Robert Walsh and Sony Records about releasing the soundtrack this summer. That was parroted all over the internet but we're partway through September with no further updates that I can find. It's disappointing because, I don't know if people remember this, it's not the first time he's teased at releasing the soundtrack. I actually asked him about it back when we were both on AOL and nothing ever came of it then. So anybody still waiting for this or heard any updates?

Marvel G1 couldn't have a soundtrack... it was a comic.  

 

And yet we saw this at the end of every episode:


No matter how many times you link it, that thread was last updated at the beginning of July. Is that a rule now, to seek out and resurrect 6-month old threads to bury questions in? Doesn't that just attract more "oh, I thought there was an update, damn" posts?

Hey, maybe Sony heard a GoBots soundtrack was in the works and just needed to stall the market for a few months...

 

So instead of an actual answer, it's links to a thread that has ALREADY been bumped with the same unanswered question...

I'll take that as "delayed indefinitely".
