I saw the badass pics of this big bot called Hercules.

    Started doing some searching...

    BigBadToyStore.com Search

Saw $99 per item... and 6 needed to make this bad-boy...

    So $600???

Am I missing something? Did I miss the change to get this for less than two car payments?

He normally retails for $600 at a few places, yes.

But go second hand or some sites with deals for buying all six and you can easily get him for under 500. Maybe even 400 if you're lucky.

    Ebay:
You should be able to get it for $470 if you import it yourself.

Taobao, and an agent, might be the cheapest option?

I got mine brand new for $441 shipped by asking eBay sellers how low they could go if I sent money directly to their Paypal.

HOPEFULLY TFC will do a cheaper box set. Then I'll buy another.

Welcome to the world of third-party figures. With lower production runs and a more limited market, the prices are exponentially higher than the shit you buy at Walmart/Target/TRU sold by Hasbro, adn even higher than importing Takara stuff

You could probably get Hercules for under $600 if you buy from RobotKingdom or second-hand. If you're serious I have spare set as well.

    The Shit
    huh?

    Wow, I had no idea!

Yes, I am serious, the thing looks badass. I am new here, so I am wrapping my head around as much as I can, as quick as I can...

So this is not US Hasbro.
    This is not JP Takara.

This is JP, 3rd Party. THE BADASS SHIT. THE REAL DEAL...

I would love to own one.

People choke up about far smaller amounts than that.

I dont blame them. This is Toys, not assault rifles or 46" Plasma TV's.

I would love to see some pics showing how LARGE the hercules was... like... the scale.

Well, does anyone want 100000x deluxe Bumblebees? Aside from Walmart, nope.

And the current stuff that Hasbro is doing is totally compromised. Even the "Best" figures like Voyager Prime Dreadwing has a garbage jet mode; stuff like Voyager First Edition Prime Bulkhead (excellent mold) doesn't even get distributed to stores; fan favorite stuff like Animated Arcee becomes a store exclusive thats (at least initially) scalped to death.

I'm pretty much out of Hasbro's mainline stuff. I'll get some Takara versions because they usually have better decos, but other than that, I'm gonna be third-party, Masterpiece, and non TF lines like SH Figuarts or Macross

There are tons of pix out there. This forum (and the review subsection) has multiple threads devoted to Hercules.

    Or just google TFC Hercules.

If you want a quick answer, its somewhere between 12-13 inches tall.

    Thats about three Classics Seekers

Or three soda cans stacked on top of each other.

If you do jump on Herc, don't forget the rage kit. IMO it looks way tougher with the wide stance, and that big fucking gun.
