I for one cannot wait for this to be reprinted and we can start summoning horrors from the stars.

If anyone would have found out about this, I knew it would be you.

Now I just need to wait for the day you are in one of these articles.

But the Lovecraftian Necronomicon wasn't covered in skin. I'm afraid the best you'll do with this is summon regular evil demon stuff. Be sure to have a man with a large chin at hand though.

That was my first thought at seeing the book. A bit of a letdown to find out that it was relatively common 300 years ago.

I've read that books bound in human skin are not especially difficult to find in some older university libraries here in the states.

You know what would be awesome?

If it were a "Choose Your Own Adventure."

This is true. The IU-Bloomington Lilly Library has 3 books that are preserved away from the rest of the library because they're bound in flesh. I had a good friend that worked at the library for a while and he said that they were German religious texts. Freaky.

Hahaha! Of all the comments posted, yours was the one I laughed out aloud!

Greyryder's comments about one's kids enjoying human flesh was also funny!
