Is this a common thing now? Is this what happens? I finally decide to let go of all my stuff, and someone just decides to ruin every one of them. It would seem the buyers have all the protections now.
So I get to spend the next week trying to file claims so I don't have to spend a fortune on shit I didn't sell. Awesome.

Is this common now? Did I miss the memo on something?

I had something happen to mine as well. My wife let her sister use our account and she screwed someone over and now my account is ruined.Sorry to hear about your account woes.

I'm still curious as to what went down with the OP, as I think he ended up with a shitty buyer (rather than someone using his account), but yeah.

Shit happens, and when it does... it usually stinks.

    Here's what happened.
Basically, someone with a 6 feedback (All positive, because sellers can no longer leave negatives) bid up and won every single auction I had listed. They all ended within minutes of each other, so i couldn't block them in time. All of his feedback basically says he doesn't pay. He's from "Brooklyn, NY" or there abouts.

So I blocked him, and the last auction, that just ended was a MIN Megatron. Bought by a person with a 0 feedback. Where from? Brooklyn! with a different name.

I assume some larger sellers pay people to crate dummy accounts and ruin auctions. Now I have to deal with ebay for god knows how long to try and get my fees back.

Anyways, what a load of s**t.

Can't you give a "Second Chance Offer" to the next highest bidder in each of your auctions?

Yes, but the way it works now is the Second chance amount is still skewed unfairly because of the bogus bids. If your winning price would have been $80, but since the jackass drove the price up to higher than that and capped out your offer, would YOU want to pay that?

Apparently a lot of these bogus accounts are all coming out of new york. That's what makes me think it's organized.

That fucking sucks. One of the many reasons why eBay blows now.

Can't u file a non-paying buyer (or whatever it's called) against him and negate the auction? Ie no fees, etc, then relist them?

(it has been a long time since I've used eBay, let alone sold something on there.)

    Ebay:
are you talking about dinobots167 ? sounds the same to me just recently. no communication and no payment. has 11 feedback now and all but 1 say no payment, bad buyer and etc.

its soooooo stupid that someone has 11 feedback and 100% and all comments left are bashing this person for non-payment, yet now there are probably several cases opened on this person and ebay doesnt do shit to fix this to leave a neg feedback.

    so stupid.

supposedly the three NPB strikes you are banned rule is still in effect...maybe some of these folks just relisted their stuff instead of waiting the time period ebay forces you to get your fees back before it will let you relist the item.

And this is why I don't do ebay cause of jerks that are on ebay. I have to admit it wasn't that bad when I was on their back in 02'. I mean yeah their was bad apples then but not as many and not as many stupid ebay rules either. I just also read where the president of ebay went to HP to become their president. Hmmmmm, I wonder what that says about the company in that ebays own president doesn't want to put up with the jerks on the ebay website anymore.

It's really really strange that eBay removed the sellers ability to leave negative feedback for buyers.
