Does anyone think there'll be more? Like Megatron, Voyager Grimlock, maybe a few Generics, Cliffjumper, or even Metroplex?
I mean, the confirmation of Starscream debunks that old rumor that there would only be 8 FOC's... so that frees up for... no limit! So does anyone think there'll be more? I know it's kind of a dumb question, but my point is will they go into "detail" like with making Sideswipe or Warpath?

I just hope they make Grimlock, Megatron and Cliffjumper.
What are you hoping for/think they'll make?

    Three things:

#1: They may count Bruticus as one unit, which would make it 4 so far (5 if you count Starscream)
#2: Starscream was listed as 2013, not 2012 like the others, so he may not count toward the eight.
#3: Cliffjumper has already been made, it'd be the exact same mold, in the exact same colors, with a new head (which Hasbro may or may not do.)

And I highly doubt Grimlock will be a Voyager.

    #1: Yeah... but still.
    #2: I sure hope so...
#3: Yeah, but that mold is from the era of bigger deluxe toys.

And they confirmed a Voyager Bulkhead with a Brawn head for the Generations line.

No, they confirmed that Voyager Bulkhead with Brawn Head for Asia Exclusive Markets.

The Asia version of Generations (United) has always had a Voyager pricepoint.

Guys, Hasbro said at Cybertroncon that FOC is their current main focus of Generations. Doesn't sound like 8 figures to me.

    Ah.

Well, why couldn't they add a Voyager size here?

Seven Decepticon offerings versus what, two Autobots so far? Almost a lock there will be more FoC Autobots coming, hopefully Dinobots.

I don't think Hasbro would be dumb enough to make a Grimlock as deluxe again, especially with the current scale back. Based on the trailer he looks massive, and would look horrible unless he was a Voyager at least.

If it were up to designers, he'd be plenty big...unfortunately the final hurdle is marketing.

This why we get things like cases that are 3/8 Bumblebee, and Galvatron shrunken because of 'too many tanks'... followed shortly afterwards by more tanks.

When Hasbro is talking about "Asia exclusives", they are talking about exclusives they offer to markets supplied by Hasbro Asia.

United is a Takara Tomy line, for Japan primarily. Some countries end up with overlap, with each company supplying TFs separately.

For other Hasbro Asia exclusives, see the DOTM Year of the Dragon Ultimate Prime, the Special Edition Classics quartet, or the Hasbro First Edition toys (same way Canada got them).

Other than Leader Ironhide and Starscream, we don't actually know what the packages for the Asia-exclusive line are and what line they fall under, but obviously they're not beholden to the old rule of "Generations are Deluxe-only". Hell, Generations might not even have that rule in 2013.

Hopefully Grimlock and the Dinobots are made.

Plenty of repaints to come out of those molds. Mainly Dinoking's.

If Grimlock is made, I'm buying him. He could be Legion sized, or Supreme/Leader Class, I just love Grimlocks FOC design.

And when Grimlock is made, he'll be the first WFC/FOC toy with a melee weapon (other than Vortex) unless they REALLY cheat out on us.

Same here. I'd really like a Voyager, but would probably buy a minicon if that was the only option.

The question's never been "can" Hasbro add the Voyager size class back to an ongoing Classics line but "will" they.

I suppose it's possible but who knows. That "40 Generations" thing is still out there and we have no idea what it will contain...I'd be surprised though, even if some of those "40" toys are redecos, if all 40 are going to be deluxes. We probably won't get a better idea until Botcon at the earliest.

As for more FoC, I've been curious if Hasbro would use these video games as an excuse to make "Cybertron Mode" toys of several characters with a preexisting Classics release simply because it's an easy way to bring back familiar characters while also keeping it in the G1 family that Classics has largely pulled from.

^ Actually I think something about the all-Deluxe nature of Generations encourages the retailers to stock it.

And a Deluxe Grimlock should square off well with Shockwave and Cyberverse Autobots.

I don't want him to scale with cyberverse. When Megatron brings out Bruticus, Optimus counters with Grimlock. He needs to be a voyager plain and simple.

Oh, c'mon. Like Grimlock had any chance against Bruticus, whatever size he was.
