why do people give the Decepticons so much flak for not killing enough bots? It's a kid's show.

That is the rule for serialized media. You don't kill the villains because it would be too hard to consistently keep creating new viable villains (like the Joker for example) and you can't let the villains be too effective either otherwise you end up with crying children because Optimus is dead and crying nerds because they won't accept Rodimus.

 

According to sources who went to NYCC, the name of the dragon was confirmed as Predaking. Tfwiki, which is almost always accurate with its information, also supports this news.

it's cool that predaking is getting in on the prime action, shame it's not the predacons of old. but still... sweet black and orange dragon with a cool name   hope it's as awesome as it should be.

What's all this about "another Beast Wars" anyway? Beast Wars isn't just BEAST ROBOTS, Beast Wars was time travel hijinx. We've beasts since god knows when in the franchise.

I mean, c'mon, Laserbeak was a fucking casette bird.

 

i think most likely if he's leading predacons then they'll just be cannon fodder like the vehicons, but wasn't it said at one time that there would be a combiner in prime? perhaps it is a team and they merge with predaking into megapredaking or something...

 

Honestly, I'm a little disappointed that "Predaking" will appear in Spring of 2013 and not sooner.

It would be interesting if Hasbro will bring the toy or game out around the holidays to boost sales and interest in Prime as a whole.

Overall, at least the Decepticons will be getting a new TF that will make things interesting.

With this new Decepticon hopefully the Autobots will get someone as powerful or at least the Autobots will get "upgrades" to fight this thing.

To be honest I really want to see Grimlock and his Dinobots take on Predaking and his Predacons in Season 3. I mean who wouldn't want to see a robotic T-Rex battle a mechanical dragon duking it out Godzilla style?  

 

Well Gregg Berger is expected to voice someone in TFP. So I think the Dinobots vs the Predacons will happen. Oh and also Dinobots vs Insecticons  

 

Here's a thought...What if Gregg Berger voices Predaking or one of the Predacons?
