Highly unlikely at this point, given that the last one was near on four years ago.

I don't think we will see them for a while because the first waves of a movie line tend to focus on the movie characters. After those waves are done we start seeing the hybrid figures come out.

My guess is that Transformers Prime will become the main line after the third movie is done so we should get lots of hybrid style figures to help fill in for the small cast on Transformers Prime.

We here at TFW2005 cannot confirm nor deny that we are going to release more hybrid style figures.

    Oh, wait....

Unfortunately no, it seems like the two molds (and one repaint) we got are it. It'd be nice if Takara went back to these and created a fully-fledged line of Hybrid Style figures, but I'm guessing they have their hands fool with Masterpieces, Movie stuff, an upcoming Prime line, and any future reissues. People have complained (which isn't a problem, given different peoples' budgets) about the price of Alternity figures given their deluxe-ish scale, so I'm not sure if people would be stampeding over each other to lock up what would be expensive scout-sized figures (in spite of their awesomeness) should Hybrid Style stuff return anyways.

If there's a glimmer of hope, it's that THS-02 was reissued/rereleased by Takara recently, so maaaaaaaaybe that was a way for Takara to gauge how much interest remains in that line.

I think you might have misinterperted what the OP was asking about. He was asking about more figure in the THS (Transformers Hybrid Style) line, which includes small, super-detailed and highly articulated versions of Galaxy Convoy and G1 Convoy, with tons of accessories. Only three were ever released, counting the E-Hobby exclusive Black G1 Convoy that included extra G2 style accessories.

It's a pity, really. I missed them both. I'd love to get my hands on Galaxy Convoy someday... :(

While I don't have one yet, I think the G1 Optimus Prime hybrid is awesome. It's almost like a mini-me of MP04.
It's a shame we didn't at least get Megatron as well.
Hybrid Prime is on my list of wants for next year.

I guess I did then since hybrid these days also means the mix of aesthetics on a figure.

I love hybrid g1 prime. The alt mode isn't perfect, but the figure is like a action master that transforms. One of my favorites by far. I still like mp04 better, but hey.

I believe there was a prototype for Galaxyforce Megatron, that was shown at a convention, but like wave 3(or was it 4?)of the WSt's(tracks and skids) it never happened.

I have both Hybrids and would buy more if they made them since they were focusing on leaders I was hoping for an update to God Gin Rai or RID Prime.
