Given that most will have been open. I know mine wont be opened or modded, but I'm not sure I care anymore.

I know Digital toys said they themselves would modify it, but with what is the question. Will the way Megatron get modded depend on 'customs'?

Sorry for being such a nerd but well... you know.

Since the modded ones were opened AFTER TakaraTomy sealed the boxes, the unmodded Megatrons will be the only, true MISB MP-05's. So logic would state that those will eventually command a higher price. How much higher will be determined over time.

I can't believe that these need to be modded to begin with. It doesn't even look like a gun though an xray.

I have NO idea how the TFC06 can pass and this can't.

Indeed. The only thing that would cause Megs to potentially be 'seized' is if your package just happened to be selected and opened for a random search and the agent saw the gun pictured on the box and actually decided to do something about it.

It seems unlikely a toy robot coming to America from Japan - which is all that would be visible through an x-ray - would prompt a package inspection... especially since only a fraction of packages are actually x-rayed anyway.

I've rolled the dice with F2F and am not feeling worried in the slightest.

Yeah, I will be really surprised if Megs fail to make it pass US customs...really surprised...
