Customs: So, I've never actually done anything like this before....

    But I was digging around and found a 1:25 scale Dodge Viper model kit that I had never got around to starting on.

    I had been looking around on here a bit earlier and saw some pretty cool stuff, like someone making a custom Ratchet with a Hummer kit..and that got me thinking it would be kinda cool to try something like that.

    So, I was just kinda wondering some things.

    1) What exactly do I need/need to know to do something like this
    2) How hard would something like this be if I've never done it before
    3) How much time do you think it'd take
    4) Should I just do a custom bot or make my own version of an existing tf (I have to say...I wouldn't mind seeing Barricade as a Viper ;)  )

    Thanks for the link, I'll go ahead and give that a readthrough..and continue looking at some of the ones people have done on here.

    Some of this stuff is unbelievable (like that Blackout someone did).

    That was really helpful, I think I got a pretty basic idea now.

    I think I'm gonna go and either do Barricade as a viper police cruiser (oh how nice that'll look) or..Starscream (yeah I know >_>).

    Which alt should I pick up next time I'm out do ya think?

    Why not just use one of the alt. Vipers that already exist?

    Not trying to dissuade you or anything, if you'd rather do the re-shell, cool. Just a thought I had.

    Right now i'm tryin to make Sideswipe into a 'cuda, friggin hard as hell, to if your gonna reshell, i'd suggest a sub or maz. Good luck and make sure to post pics of your progress for everyone to see.

    I'll be sure to do so...once I get around to picking up a digi cam >_>

    So either pick up Ricochet or Meister to reshell?

    I'll probably just end up doing him as Barricade..mostly cause I can't think of a good color scheme for SS as a car...
