So far the enemies in FOC seem drones unlike in WfC. So are the Genericons dead or can we seem them alongside the drones?

I´m not really a fan of the drones. They look lame, like in Armada.

There's some artwork for enemies that look like actual Cybertronians; the huge white Autobot for instance.

But yeah I'm hoping we'll still see actual "people" to fight, not an army of drones.

It's neat that they have multiple modes but without vehicles modes, it's kinda lame in Transformer world.

I don't really see a difference, either. They're just going to be cannon fodder one way or another.

In my own opinion, it has everything to do with full immersion into the mythos within the game. Transformers has always been about a race of robots that can change from their humanoid form into a vehicle of some kind. These drones are neat but may end up feeling like a bunch of Ed209's running around the map. We'll see how it ends up but I am hoping they include "Transformers" as enemy combatants as well.

I think they are still generics. I think they are just trying to make them more interesting. I'm always happy to see someone who knows what a generic is.

They are just new types of baddies, with some less humanoid builds, but if you wondering what happened to the generics from WFC, they might be there in FOC as the most basic of enemies, or perhaps they have already left Cybertron and become the Vehicons in Prime?

About the Autobots however, we haven't seen much about their dudes in FOC. All we know is that they are not just re-skins of the other team's bots like in WFC. There's one that flies and carries a huge cannon made of jet engines, but that's all we really know.

So, and explanation for why the 'Cons may have so many new types of soldiers may simply be experimentation by Shockwave.

I'm glad they have given both sides different dudes, because I always found the Autobot cloakers to be so out of place. They just seemed so sneaky and Decepticonial in nature that I couldn't see the Autobots employing soldiers like that.

And that's part of his character. That's why Cliffjumper always thinks he's a traitor.

Not really something you can apply to a thousand other guys.

Judging from pics, most of the new enemies in FOC seem to be insect-looking robots. But do we have confirmation that they are supposed to be Insecticons?

A few types of Decepticons are bugs (I think a sort of wasp-like type and a grasshopper type), and they have been called Insecticons.
