The term "spastic" discribes someone who has the same named disabillity. Yeah, in america spastic means someone with hyperactiity or someone who is clumsy but i dont understand what spastic has to do with hyperactivity or clumsiness, thats a totally wrong use of the word.

All encompassing. I used it on hyper people but it describes weird behavior, maybe awkwardness. Though here we use the slang Spazz.

Now now, Her Majesty has apologised on several occasions for Kathrine Tate, but EU regulations are strictly against abortions more than five years after birth.

Besides, we don't have bios here, so it'll only appear in places where it's acceptable.

Things such as packaging copy, as well as anything else involved with design, development and marketing, were made months and months ago. The decision to rename Spastic (the PCC toy) was only made recently.

I believe it's considered to be one of the most offensive words in the United Kingdom.

Oh and don't forget ***. Oh oh maybe the US could name that other character Spastic and the UK could name him ***.

Anyway, I think in the context of the bio, spastic can't really be taken the wrong way. However it sounds like it won't be an issue anyway since from what others have said, the bio will be cut short in the countries that find the word offensive.

You know, I bet you that part of the bio won't even make it outside of america regardless, given that foreign packaging almost always truncates the bios down to single sentences that are repeated in a bunch of different languages.

    ;D

I think they means spastic as is the way of unpredictable movements? Like spasms? But it can be used as an isult here in the U.S. I guess. If you call someone a "spaz" I don't know :lol . I think it's only hurtful when you're in middle school.

Yeah, let's repeat the same points over and over again for 200 pages! Quick, someone cite a dictionary definition, someone else point out that the packaging was printed months ago, and someone else point out that the UK will get truncated bios on the packaging!

And let's also hear from our baby-eating White Knight who actively succeeded in royally pissing off people in Hasbro's design department!
