Yeah, loads of people still play it, including myself. I'll probably keep playing it until I finally get Dark of the Moon.

I've never lagged in games apart from games where people too experience lag. The only difference is that I'm lucky to not experience is as often. I've experienced lag in only WfC and Crysis 2.

I don't think I ever had a laggy online match for the entire time I owned the game.

Now I really want this game again. :(  Good thing it's now available on Xbox Live's Games on Demand service...for THIRTY-FUDGING DOLLARS.

Screw it, I'm getting a used copy from Play N Trade...even if it is only 5 dollars cheaper there.

I played it today for the first time since it originally came out. Did a few multiplayer games, was good fun.

The only thing I don't like is having to hold down the right tigger to stay in alt mode, or having to hold down the left trigger so I can shoot someone. I kept transforming right when I didn't want to. I guess I have to get used to the controls again, but I do think the controls for WFC are more intuitive but even they could benefit from some refinement.

I actually got back into this. I definitely prefer ROTF's multiplayer over WFC's. Playing as Grindor is still a blast.

I decided to go back to ROTF after I beat DOTM and while some parts of DOTM are pretty cool, I still prefer ROTF. The missions are more fun, the ability to pick your character is awesome and being able to choose which campaign to play is great fun. If i just am in the mood to blow shit up I can, if i want to play the hero and save the day I can do that as well.

I know it is a little early for DOTM, but I love the DLC on Revenge. Playing as G1 Prime or SS is a great change of pace and brings a whole new level of play to the game. Seriously, I am very tempted to restart the game and play through it again. That sounds like a lot of fun.

i feel the same with rotf. loved how you could climb buildings and sit and wait sometimes for someone to pass.

i used skywarp and sunstorm a lot and loved to jump of the side of a bulding, transform and go after them!

I am right now replaying the campaign on ROTF and I love how free form it is. You have much bigger environments, the medals are kind of fun (I've played the same mission 4x with Grindor to increase my score) plus all the extra characters make it much more enjoyable. I can pretty much do whatever i want with it.

I think my favorite thing might actually be all the little details. I love the little NEST humans firing at me with rifles. With them being so small, it makes the TF actually seem appropriately huge. I also love the destructible environments. You can really mess up some buildings and throw cars around as if the were small toys. I never got a sense of size and scale with DOTM. It just felt like a 3rd person shooter where I could transform into a vehicle. With ROTF, I actually feel like I am playing with a massive Transformer.

I'm not saying DOTM is a bad game, but I personally greatly prefer ROTF.

It's pretty much the same for me with WFC. Sure, the Campaign is great and really fun, but it just feels too much like a 3rd person shooter. Doesn't matter whether you are in robot or vehicle mode. I also didn't find much use for the vehicle mode. It's like the only time I transform into a plane or car, it's because I'm out of ammo in my robot form. Not because it's particularly useful. It's much easier to engage your opponent on two legs.

I love the quick and constant change between robot and vehicle mode in ROTF. Especially since it's actually useful to use in close combat. Quickly transform into a vehicle, close the gap between you and your opponent and attack with an advanced take-down. Just so much fun.
