... and i have my list narrowed down to four.

    -Ratchet
    -Knock Out
    -Soundwave
-Hot Shot (or the RID bumblebee, since i doubt many people have hot shot yet)

which one of these molds will give me the best bang for my buck and is worth the $13?

    Ratchet or Soundwave.

Big fuckin' help I am, I know. But hey, they're both great.

I feel ratchet and soundwave are a lil bit overrated.

The gem of the entire line to me is Wheeljack. But if I had to pick one from you list Id go with soundwave. The bot mode is great. It has an ugly Alt mode, but the laserbeak integration and look of the bot mode save it.

Limiting yourself to only one means your gonna miss out on a lot of stuff, but out of those, soundwave. Definitely skip ratchet and Hot shot if your only getting one figure.

Out of the entire prid line I definitely recommend wheeljack. If you get him and don't enjoy him then your probably doing it wrong.

Also, that vehicon looks fantastic, he might be worth waiting on if your only getting one as you said.

Just one? Transformers are like potato chips- you can't get "just one."

This. He's as close to a perfect toy as I've seen in a long time.

Soundwave is quite good. As is Wheeljack. I actually find them better than Ratchet and Bumblebee (Hot Shot).

I say get more than one. The goodness of these Prime toys is making up for all the DotM crap Hasbro foisted on us last year.

    Yeah what's up with that?

Anyway, If you see a Soundwave, snatch it up. It's the best from your list, and the hardest to get right now. Ratchet comes in second, and then Knockout, guys we have to settle for until they make a better version.

Wheeljack is the only Prime toy i'm considering to get. First of all, he is one of few in that line who looks having nice proportions and design to me and since he has his cartoonish face covered, i believe he can get away with his prime aestethic for blending in with my movieverse (including Hftd and Rts hybrids) collection. Am i right or is he too clean and cartoon stylised? Any thoughts will help.

Btw, sorry if i'm hijacking this thread.
