so if moon was s-2, and heinlad was s-3 who was s-1?

    so I'm on a bit of a japanese beast wars kick lately, after picking up heinlad, I just got stampy and corhada. I realized on heinlad's box he was s-3, and I've got moon, which leads me to the question at hand. I tried googling it, and tfu.info wasn't any help. any ideas?

    As far as I can tell there isnt one. Doesnt seem to be an x-1 either.

    that's not like takara, though, is it? they've always numbered in a relatively sensible pattern. I think...

    S-1 was Convoybat vs Megalligator, a red and blue repaint of the first US vs set: Megatron and Optimus Primal

    X-1 was VS-X1 Armordillo vs. Snapper with Volcano playset, which is also the most rare BW set except for the egg beasts. You can see pictures of both in my collection thread. Except I think I haven't uploaded pictures of S-1 yet. Coming soon.

    G1 numberings were not sequential, but all later series have been, as far as I know.
