I am currently a house husband in search of work. But for the time being, keeping a nice clean house is hard work!

I hear TRU only give's their employees a 10% discount. Might as well not be any discount at all with their prices.

I was a BOH supervisor. it basically entails keeping track of EVERY item in the store. Constantly getting yelled at. Checking other inventory for different stores in the area and out of the area. working the back, floor, truck, paperwork, paperwork, paperwork. oh and getting yelled at everymorning in case I didnt mention it. They based my performance on what the computer tells them i should be doing rather than the reality of the situation given that the store is in BLOODY FREAKING REMODEL. and Today my wife "BLUE SKYS" said to quite, she would go full time and i would take over the house hold stuff. I guess this will be a new adventure in parenting as well. thanks for letting me vent everyone. The constant yelling at me and telling me the computer was right and i just need to do what it says finallly got to me. they have no common-sense and ARRGGHH ok im over it.

I hear that, I quit work to focus on writing my thesis, but taking care of 20 acres, six dogs, and 10 cats is a job in itself.

And congrats on quiting TRU Rumble. It is a very liberating experience to leave a job you've grown to hate.

Good luck. Staying at home with kids is more work than working outside of the house. But much more rewarding since kids are awesome....if they are yours.

I worked for many retail stores. They treat their employees like shit. Their managers are hired on a bottom of the barrel basis. I've had a manager who never finished high school, caused the most trouble for being lazy when they were lowly employees, but got promoted because they kissed ass and blamed other people for their mistake. I finally got out of it. I had to get a masters degree to do so, but I hope to never work retail again. 30 years later watch me end up the greeter at wal-mart.

Edit: Nevermind, saw your previous post mentioning this.
