I need some games (besides Transformers). What should I get. I like Racing, Action, and Mindless fun!
DONT' get Transformers for Wii. The camera is horrible! If you're a racing fan, pick up Excite Truck. It's great! Twilight Princess and Metroid Prime 3 are must-haves.
Mindless fun would probably include Monkey Ball and Warioware; however, avoid Mario Party. Sonic and the Secret Rings has some really good minigames in it too.
Rayman, Raving rabids (that game is halarious Metroid Prime 3 (best Metroid game since Super Metroid) Zelda: Twilight Princess Super Paper Mario (lots of fun) Guitar Hero III and don't forget all the classics on the Virtual Console!
Super Mario Galaxy is an upcoming title that looks well worth getting. Also later this year is Godzilla Unleashed (well, I'm getting it, I have no idea if anyone else will). Start of next year is Smash Bros Brawl, and Mario Kart Wii This thread reminds me, must pick up MP3 soon. I just can't justify £34.99 though. £29.99 I could.
Super Mario Galaxy is a few days away!!!!!!!! Plus Super Smash Brothers Brawl in three months!!!!!! The Wii already has: Zelda, Metroid Prime 3, RE4, Wii Play, Big Brain Academy, and they just released Zack and Wiki: Quest For Barbaros' Treasure. OMG. Manhunt II and Guitar Hero comes out TOMORROW!!!!!
Dude, if you gotta Wii, then go to the bathroom. LOZ and MP3 are musts, TF is just downright frustrating
Well, when I get a Wii, which might be pretty soon, I know I am coming home with Paper Mario, Metroid Prime 3, and Zelda. You can't go wrong with these 3 nintendo franchises.
i love dragon ball z budokai tenkaichi 2. bt 3 is coming out next month though so it's likely worth waiting. it's a great fighting game in general, uses the wii controls really well.
Can't forget Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition, and Metal Slug Anthology. Also download Sin and Punishment on Virtual Console as soon as possible.
Super Paper Mario, Zelda and Metroid for actual games; Warioware for goofball wiimote fun. I am definitely getting that! A lot of the upcoming games that look good have been mentioned except one: Mario and Sonic at the Olympics. EDIT: Oh yeah, avoid Transformers for all systems except the DS. It's really, really bad.
Resident Evil 4. It's a must have for Wii. And I think it's only $30 too, making it one of the cheaper Wii titles. It's so good, I would have bought it for $50.
I have heard so much about that game that I think I have been convinced to get it. Oh and I ABSOLUTELY recommend Metroid Prime 3. It is awesome. It is addictive and completely intuitive. Best game for the Wiimote there is.
the ds transformers was pretty fun. i got up to megatron then i couldn't figure out how to beat him and gave up though.
Speaking of hearing so much about a game...I think I'm going to have to get Metroid Prime 3. I have a feeling my wife might even like it. I started playing RE4, she started playing it. I started playing Zelda: Twilight Princess, she started playing it. MP3 will probably follow the pattern.
Wario Ware is the best game on any system it is released for. And when it comes to the wii, the multiplayer is frggin amazing. It's the kind of crazy, fast-paced party experience that the Mario Party series has been trying and failing to capture all these years.
