So I found something on FigureRealm (Generations Deep Space Starscream Custom Action Figure) where someone took a Cyclonus, put on a Generations Blurr head, and repainted it as a Starscream concept (image below). I got to thinking "those two molds might work for War for Cybertron Starscream."

I also figured the concept would be perfect because of the multiple vehicle modes Starscream has access to...
    100_0564.JPG
(for when you hold down "boost")
    100_0566.JPG
(and for when you want to shoot)
So I started modding the Blurr head to match the game (ie: took off the head crest), but got roped into tagging along for x-mas shopping. I stumbled into a RTS Perceptor at Marshals (for $7) and figured I could use it for Soundwave (I still have a WFC Soundwave head left over from another custom.)

And then I thought "the Perceptor head might work better for Starscream"

So now I'm unsure which head to use for Starscream, Blurr's or Perceptor's
    100_0568.JPG

Below are images from the link I found, and a mock-up of the alternative (Perceptor's head is resting on the body)

Please leave your opinion of which head I should use below (I might go back and use the other one for a seeker if this turns out good).

EDIT: Due to circumstances beyond my control, I may not be able to finish this guy. If anyone else want's to make their own version of this, don't feel bad for posting your version before me.

Good idea man, I think the blurr head fits it better although I would suggest re-sculpting it a little to match the starscream reference pic you have at the bottom. cool concept!

When I first saw Cyclonus I thought "WTF?" seeing the repaint I have to admit that this rocks. Imagine Unicron gave Starscream this body instead of his old one. I like Blurrs head more.

It's settled then, I'll go with Blurr, maybe using a Perceptor head for a conehead, 'cause that head fits in that gap easily.

The Perceptor head doesn't affect it at all, and if you turn Blurr's head around and angle it up a bit, neither does his.

That looks cool thus far. I like both heads, but I think Blurr will be best.
