your pix were pretty funny. I was in your position yesterday with movie deluxe Landmine but with more parts falling off of it than fell off Ironhide.

i might get the repaints like this, because they do look different then the actual movie ones, opposed to the prem ones that look the same just with more paint...

and i actually like the color skim, just not the missiles.

at least with this one, i can pretend it is a different character, like trailbreaker or hoist...

Yah, he is; his "shoulder wheels" should fold all the way up, so that their center "spoke" connects to the pegs on the sides of the headpiece.

I know this because when I got my original Ironhide I transformed him the same way you did.

    The pics were very amusing.

Also, the pics make me consider buying him, and I'm really trying not to. I mean, I already have this toy in black, and the blue - while nice - isn't even meaningful. If it was a red recolor, I'd be all over it.

I know why Hasbro does repaints, and I've always bought them all before, but the movie line has become my breaking point. There are some great molds in this line, but I don't need all of them in movie character / non-movie character / screen battles / AllSpark Power / G1 homage / battle-damaged / store exclusive / premium movie character variations.

Actually, now that you mention it, I'm surprised we didn't get a G1 color IronHide...

LOL! I am super glad you managed to get him transformed correctly, but "Be a truck please!" had me almost choking from laughing so hard. Thanks!

I did'nt really care for his look much until picking one up. Robot mode looks fantastic in person, I think I like him better than the black version, which is rare
