And they have animated out. After a closer look i notice grimlock looks wierd and see it is a classics grimlock in the box.So now i am pissed and look around and i find a starscream with a classics screamer in the box and 2 bumblebees with concept camaros instead. At this point i am livid so i call the toy stocker over and show the items to her and she doesn't see a problem.Against my judgement i rip her a new one at how stupid they are.:mad I did get them to remove the product though in front of me(it probably went back out after i left)

So in the past week there have been 3 voyagers and 2 deluxes with switched items.
whomever did this is a douchbag and is hurting kids who want the toys.

sorry for the rant but it just pisses me off when people do this and the clerks are stupid enough to return them when the product barely fills the bubble.

Yeah that hit a never with me too I have a pic I'll post when I get home of a Movie first strike prime with a SUPER OBVIOUS dollar store no-name robot in it .... Come on though if your that poor that you cant afford a $10 figure and you have to resort to ripping off other fans then you need a new hobby.

The Blackarachnia that I bought from Walmart looked preopened when I got home (guess I should have looked at the packaging more carefully). Everything was there and in good condition though. I haven't seen any replacements like this in store yet though.

IMO, Platinum Movie Jazz is the hardest to tell if it's a replaced figure or just a bad paint job. =\

Additionally, it's getting hard to find animated figures now. Scaplers are starting to clean house.

I really hope that was said as a joke.

Shit like this really is low. I know people were 'justifying' it with the movie premiums, but this is just theft straight up.

Yeah, I only see this kind of crap at Wal-Mart. It's really pathetic and I can't help but shake my head in disappointment when I see such things.

I admit I've done swap-outs before, but only for the sake of replacing a broken figure.

But behavior like THIS is just despicable.

So, wait...you return a broken figure for someone else to buy? Please tell me I read that wrong, because that's not much better...

do like in Sweden. No returning of the merchindice toy or games if the seal has been broken. if you want to give a game as a present they seal it. and since all toys come sealed. Thsi shouldent be a problem. man US retail what a dumb world.

That is a complete jerk whoever did that. And some people on this very site said they intended to switch figures when the Move Premium came out... it's pathetic.

BTW, Paladin, repacking a broken figure that someone else unfortunately is going to buy, is just as bad as what we are discussing.

Is there really much money to be made with anything Animated at this point? I see everything selling on ebay for maybe $1-2 of profit per item once ebay/paypal fees are dealt with, and early mass releases are occurring all over the world.

why swap out tho? i just take my broken figure to customer service, tell them what's wrong, and then they just replace the figure with another one. now, if the store decided to reseal a returned figure, known to be broken, then the beef is with the store and not the person who returned the item in the first place.

i think its more of people wanting the figs for basically 10 dollars except why put a classics starscream that is worth 20+ now:confused2
(i almost bought the starscream just for another classics screamer)
the 2 bumblebees were just wrong though
