I've had a 17" Sony Trinatron for about 5 years now I suppose, and just recently I was getting color problems,
Internal problems that I would open up the monitor and fix (15 years arcade technician exp). Aside from the hassle the occasional electric shock was getting annoying.

To make a long story short, I sold off some stuff in Junkion and on Ebay and jot this beauty last night.

20.1" 16:9 aspect ratio, DVI Connected and running at 1680x1050

all in all I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've had my ginormous 19" monitor since 1998. Probably darn close to 15" deep. Friggin Optiquest (Viewsonic). Die already, I want a new one.

    TV too.

Be careful of what you wish for my Viewsonic 19" died a while back at a most inopportune time. I've got a 19" Samsung now but I really want a 24" Widescreen Samsung.

one of the reasons I got it was the 8ms response time and the reviews saying that people were playing things like Battlefield 2 for 4 hours with no ghosting. :D

When it does die, I can't complain. At least 8 years and going strong thus far...

Looks good. I might upgrade my monitor someday soon. That might be a good choice.

Hot dam, that is a thing of hawtness.
    Congrats Shin.

I've been thinking about getting a new monitor for a while.
A nice flat panel one would be better for my desk.

Nice, I was looking at getting a flat panel as I'm limited on desk space, but I'd end up getting a monster like that and making my problem worse.
