I have been digging into the guts of Arcade Games since I was 16 (Those keeping score that 15 years now) and I came to know that the owner of a local Skateboard shop had a 720° machine that needed some lovin.

Long story short, I needed a new deck, 720° needed the joystick's pots replaced, and everyone is happy.

Now this is the 3rd John Lucero Deck I have had, the first 2 were MANY moons ago in 1986 the classic Behind Bars Board that made Schmitt Stix a force in the late 80's

And the second one in 1987

You can see the Clown there that adorns my new deck here and was a reaccuring theme in his early boards.

Now a personal note about John Lucero. When I was in HS he was running his company Black Label Skateboards out of his house in Westminster, CA mere blocks from my school. Some friends of mine and I used to deliver some items that Mr Lucero would put in his pipe (Use your Imigination) and in return we could skate his ramp in the back yard. Really Cool Guy.

Cool. I haven't skateboarded in years. Not that I was ever any good. I've got an old Mike McGill deck, with Gullwing trucks. (with the graphite baseplates) It's in sore need of new bearings.

Everything I needed to know about running away from large swarms of bees, I learnt from 720.

    Nice board.

Never knew there were any Skaters who posted here.

Skateboarding and Video Games are two of the reasons I stopped collecting Transformers back when I was a kid.

I had Ray Berbee's SEcond deck with the ragdoll sitting on the fire Hydrant with A1 Meats wheels

Ray Barbee's 3rd deck with all of the ragdoll cards with the Santa Cruz wheels with the razors on them.

Had a few jeremy Klein decks too. Thew were cool with the Anime characters on them.

Ha, and you prolly thought I was gonna have some smartass remark huh?

Too bad you don't have the originals anymore. Some older decks have been pulling some heavy cash recently.

I wish I still had my Fucked Up Blind Kids decks, my old Gator, and all of my old Gonz decks. To make it worse I had them all until a few years ago when my mom moved. I was too lazy to go pick up the 100 or so that were there and told her just to pitch them all. They were beat to shit, but they had a lot of memories.

This was my first deck with Slimeball Spewage Wheels.

I doubt I'll ever be able to find one of those again.

I've been thinking about picking up a Tony Hawk Medallion re-issue as I've always liked the shape of that board.

Yep they are reissuing, Santa Cruz and Powell are reissuing original shapes, Vision is back with just about nothing but reissues. Most of the other compaines are reusing old graphics, Mine is one, infact I'm pissed that I didn't know about this:

I would have so gotten that instead.

My first was a Vision Psycho Stick

I might get the Hawk Medallion Reissue as well as I had that in High School, I remember breaking that enormus nose off doing a nose slide.
