I think a lot of the activity in the mugenbine thread is a result of his original thread. I know I'm guilty, and I think a lot of others are too. let's add it up, shall we? quote and add your name and how much you've spent on mugenbines in the past month:

    ckhtiger-$90

I was buying them a bit before he got Power Nose so I am not directly guilty. Over all, however, I have spent about $110 or so on 11 figures (10 for me, 1 double for my son).

Yes, I too have Power Nose. I dig him.

I really want the newer figures that are only available in asia. Like Powernose. The bad thing is that all the figures here in the USA are the older series which are interesting but not as hot as the newer series with the crazy animals and colors.

But I'm on the fence about doing the BIN for that big lot on ebay. It's not a bad deal. Each figure would be around $10.

I'd seen these at a comic con in NYC once... and wanted to pick em up, but I never actually did. I'm now really wishing I had... I'd like to pick some up.

get that ebay lot, that's what I did. the figs are awesome, but it's missing 3 of that series, which just makes you want them all that much more :cry

about $50 for JUUKI GATTAI MUGEN BUILDER (not yelling, just copied & pasted name from another site—too lazy to change to lower case, but not too lazy to type out long explanation it would seem...) to complete my collection with the exception of store exclusives and candy toys.

I have spent no money on Mugenbine, nor do I see myself spending any in the future. I'm too inthralled with Macross right now...

I was wondering this too... seemed like there were a lot of Mugenbines bouncing around Ebay before the recent Mugenbine resurgence on this board. Then after the initial posting, suddenly all the Mugenbines are getting bids!

    Coincidence? I think not. :)

I beat the rush, and got my Mugenbines last year for a sweet price (about $5 per set). Since then, I've kind of frozen my Mugenbine purchasing... mostly because I realised that to build anything really cool, I need a lot more than I do now, and they'll cost me a fortune. :)

lol $0 and it's gonna stay that way. Interesting as they appear to be, I don't dig them much at all in terms of aesthetics and play-factor, despite RW's attempts to get me interested. This is one particular madness that shall never reach my already-fevered brain!

I didn't start buying MRM due to the original thread, but I have spent close to $250 over the last month or so picking up sets that I originally passed on.
