Okay, so I saw the review of that canceled wonderfest Nemesis Prime review. I remembered that the wonderfest one was suppose be like the SDCC one but with red windows. Now I am confused. It seems like the one in the review was a prototype but then the guy took out the SDCC exclusive one and compared it with the Hasbroexclusive one and that just "WTF?" So now I am wondering...how many are out there and what are the differences? Also, maybe where would one go get these?
Eh.. the SDCC and the Hasbro Toy Shop figure are the exact same I thought. What review did you see where they compared two of them with each other? TFwiki explains that the mold has been used 6 times: Classics Optimus Prime Classics Ultra Magnus Universe Nemesis Prime (SDCC/HTS) Shattered Glass Optimus Prime (Botcon 2008) Henkei Optimus Prime Clear Convoy (Tokyo Toy Show 2008) This is excluding any Lucky Draws. EDIT: 7 if you count the Wonderfest figure that you, of course, mentioned.
I know there the Hasbro toy shop one. There was an variant of it having red windows. So that two I think. There's the other one is wonderfest one, which was most all black. there are only two. SDCC and wonderfest, which never happened. the rest are just variants of parts swapping.
Nope. All the US releases (SDCC AND HTS) all have blue windows and teal parts with Decepticon logos. The canceled purported Wonderfest Prime had red windows and Autobots insignias (Nucleon Quest Convoy maybe?). The only reason King Konvoy has two of the HTS ones on there is because he's said he's saving one for the Shadow Commander armor.
Nothing official. If you do see one. it is a custom. Like i customed my SDCC/HTS Nemesis Prime. I swapped in Crystal Convoy red windows for my NP.
If anyone is thinking of getting a Nemesis Prime at HTS. I believe the figure is no longer being sold at the regular Price. He doesn't even show up as sold out. All whats left is the AFA graded stuff.
That Wonderfest Black Convoy needs to be made.... I want one SO bad. Ehobby or Taret or Walmart need to pick him up as an exclusive......LOL or Botcon...
Or a testshot. As I recall one or two showed up on eBay well ahead of the announcement of the upcoming SDCC figure.
Are you refering to my picture above? The one with red windows is NOT a crystal convoy parts swap. this is MY crystal convoy parts swap. I swapped the window, I had to remove the slight black tint that was on the plastic windows, and I swapped the red hinge on the legs.
