So I gave in and joined Shmax.com, same name as here.

It's not the most people friendly sight to use, but I do enjoy being able to catalog most things easily for the most part.

So I was wondering how many folks here use it. I know I see some sigs and a few heavy hitters from here who's names are on top the boards there for collections size.

PS anyone know how to filter all the crap u dont need out of the searches(like m ake it look under g1 only all the time or anything?)

I have an account but haven't updated in over 18 months. The site is to slow and littered with garbage like dog tags that affects the charts/stats.

I have an account but I can't remember when I last used it, as I found it far too slow for my liking. I'll stick to my Excel collection sheet.

I am on there, same name. If you have a suggestion let them know. Shmax is excellent in addressing features and options. I really like the site!

I have an account, but haven't used it in forever. Way too slow and not at all user-friendly, IMO. I'll just stick with my Excel spreadsheets and taking photos of the actual figures I own.

Yup I'm on Shmax, same name as here. I like the site, though I wish there was an easier way to sort through my collection. I still update it whenever I purchase new stuff. It's a nice compliment to the Excel sheet I also use.

I've been on Shmax a long time, it was really difficult at first, but they recently upgraded their servers and the site runs much faster now. It is also a lot easier to use, I access the site every time I buy or sell something in order to keep my collection up to date. It is less cumbersome than a massive spreadsheet and it is all "on the cloud" so to speak so I can access it anywhere.

I joined the site a couple years ago and finally updated my profile there last month. I'm pretty sure it's the same screen name as this one...now I have to go check lol...I also need to go a little bit more updating...

Edit: Yep, it's the same screen name. I didn't know I was ranked #17, that's cool!

I'm on there as well. I really like the site. It is no longer slow at all and has a lot of great improvements. If you haven't been on there for a while, check it out again...

It does make sorting thru and adding tings a bit slow I will admit.

I've only done a very very small part of my collection thus far.

Did the little stuff to figure out how it works for I dig into all of it.

Maybe we need to make a thread here to discuss issues with shmax as a group and then forward our ideas/methodologies to them?

I haven't been on in a couple years. It's too laborious to keep up with.

I recently joined. I find it interesting but have yet to fully enter my collection into it. It has a great range of options though.

I saw that too, maybe, but we shall see if it lasts longer in this configuration than crave did prior. I did like crave.

It does seem quite laborious, I mentioned starting another thread about helping with schmax suggestions since everyone has said they are very accommodating in getting things done if people have ideas

I like what u can do and how they have things sorted, now can u track or generate lists of parts missing from the lists u check as u add/remove figs from your collection.... That would be awesome when attending shows and looking for parts and pieces

I've been on there for quite some time. I have everything in there (I think) except for a few newer items.

It can be daunting at first but you don't have to use it for its full potential if you don't want to. If you don't want to track all your accessories or how much you paid for it, you don't have to. Use it the way you want.

As far as speed, it isn't an issue anymore as noted. And the "dog tags" and other type items do not skew the numbers. I brought up this question when asking about the Skywarp Numeral Candle. The miscellaneous items do not count as toys.
My topic of musings and ideas

And if you have any questions on how to use the site, you can always ask there. Don't be afraid. ;)

I checked out there site and don't see any details on selling. The policy mentions a subscription fee but doesn't say how much it is.
