Yeah pretty much same here. Really all the more serious relationships I've had have been in the just about 2 years since I turned 17. One lasted a few weeks-couple of months. Then one for a bit over 7 months. And today, been with my current (and, would like to say only ever future) gf for a month.

Really, just be yourself, you shouldn't have to play down who you are to try and get with a girl. Cliche as it sounds, it's true, any girl that doesn't like you for who you are...they aren't worth it/right for you.

Now, that's not to say you shouldn't watch what you say or how you act or not oversaturate on a subject that may not be the peak of their interest (i.e. if they aren't a tf fan, do try and find something else to talk about), but that's more to do with knowing how to act properly depending on company than not being yourself.

I just find, paying attention to them, complimenting them, asking them how their day was, finding common ground you can discuss, treating a girl right and just generally being a good guy is all that really matters. Long as you are a good guy, your interests really shouldn't matter, you'll find someone that either tolerates or even shares those interests eventually.

If you do like the smell of Axe (it's not that bad, really), they do make deodorant and shower gel variants of all their scents (Phoenix FTW!). These allow you to get that smell without smelling like you applied it with a firehose.

And just to be fair, girls, be light on the perfume. I've had some girls walk by me where I could practically taste their perfume. This generally occurs more with older people (I blame deteriorating senses and a plethora of elderly aromas), but there were more than a few back in high school that had a cloud of perfumestink around them constantly.

My persona is made up of liking coldplay, red hot chili peppers, science fiction movies and stories ( of which transformers is just one ) and stephen king books. Most horror movies aren't half as scary as a real stephen king book.
