You're probably getting mixed up with First Aid the Protectobot ambulance.

Red Alert and First Aid are names that got a bit conflated later because the Armada/Energon/Cybertron character Red Alert was known as First Aid in Japan.

As many have already noted, sharing a basic structure doesn't make you brothers. In G1, as far as I can remember, Rumble and Frenzy are the only brothers that actually DO share a mold (and maybe Runabout and Runamuck sort of, but I'm not sure if they're actually brothers). None of the other shared mold characters are actually related.

Also, we have to assume that even their bodies are only superficially similar, as they have totally different physical attributes. Sideswipe can convert his arms into piledrivers, while Red Alert cannot... much the way Ironhide has his impervious armoured shell, while Ratchet does not.

(on a side note, it's interesting that mold siblings Windcharger and Tailgate both have magnetic wave powers... coincidence probably)

As for a connection between Inferno and Red Alert... that's something that always bugged me a bit. Inferno and Red Alert have nothing to do with each other really... they totally work in different fields. Inferno is Search and Rescue, while Red Alert is a security chief... more of a cop (or even a spy when you think about it).

Their only connection is that they both turn into fire vehicles... which doesn't necessarily have anything to do with their actual function in the Autobot force (much as Prowl has no "police"duties).

G1 BB is a VW Beetle and G1 Cliffy is a Porsche 925 Turbo. It's only because the molds are superdeformed that they look similar. Definitely not the same cars.

Red is there brother he's there British Cousin and Dead End is their Emo cousin.

 

I find that funny because Blaster and Tracks do the "police duties" in Season 2

My thoughts when I saw this thread titles was....

Red Alert turns into an emergency vehicle, while the two speedsters tend to cause accidents. This difference in occupation split them up when they were younger, Sun and Sides making fun of Red's responsible choice of alt mode, and the bitter family fued split them up. They no longer call eachother brothers
