So I'm selling off some stuff I don't want to BBTS. So far the total comes up to $195 store credit though I replied to see if they could bump up my latest add on, Classics Starscream to $25 instead of 20 to make it an even $200. First batch they offered $95, second batch they offered $80 then I added in Classics SS and they offered $20 for him. I'm using $77 of the payout to get the City Commander Armor Set and the rest will go on various TFs from Universe, Cybertron, Energon and Universe 1.0 and some Beast Wars.

I'm happy because I'm gonna be using the PoL feature most definitely and this will undoubtedly be my biggest haul EVAR!!! So far the most TFs I ever had arrive at once from them was 2, I really need to learn some patience I guess, but this will be a huge haul for me and I'm definitely gonna take my time and let it grow before I hit the Ship It Now switch. :D :D :D :D :D

I think the biggest haul I ever had was buying 5 deluxe figs from the armada line. I can't wait to get this package in the mail, but I will ;) .

YAY FOR BBTS STORE CREDIT AND THE PoL FEATURE!!!!

Congrats indeed. I'd love to get CC set myself and to do it by getting rid of old figs you don't necessarily want anymore is almost as good as getting the new stuff for free! Oh and I'm epically jealous btw.

That's exactly how I fund my habit. Sell the items I don't want to BBTS and purchase those I do want. Sometimes I sell the extras & excess that I purchase from stores, eBay or the junkion exchange. I even toss in items that are incomplete or broken items from my childhood and bad deals in the package to BBTS. I'm honest and upfront so they know what they are getting. I using store credit for two city commander sets and thundercracker. I even made several deals at the BBTS table at Botcon.

Right now my I'm selling them every figure I have that I don't want, it's not a lot but after I have some better cash flow coming in I'll be able to stock up on doubles of figs, some to trade and some to sale. Right now I'm lucky their total offer comes up to $195.

Made an offer as well for some BT bots and a SOC Spec figure, turned out to a tad less than $500. Sometimes they're good with their offers, sometimes their offers are downright ridiculous.

Good to know it worked out for you, I've been using their PoL feature for quite some time now, nothing better than finding a box with 4-10 figures in ;)

Classics Starscream for $25? Why they offer more than the retail prices?

Because that price includes shipping to them and it's probably going to go for around 30-35 USD on their site.

My dads paying shipping though, guess he kind of owes me for paying his rent and lending him money all the time.

Yup, this is gonna be awesome. $200 for new TFs, I get all the cash since my dad owes me more than enough for shipping. Definitely getting the Magnus Armor so that leaves about 100 for TFs and 30 for S/H. I may spend it ALL on TFs and then keep it in PoL until I get the cash to ship it.

I have a couple questions if you don't mind me asking. Is the Classics SS you are selling them for 25, MISB?

Because I have Classics Deluxe SS loose with all accessories and I really don't want him anymore...he's not even on display..If I could sell him and a couple other loose movie (All of my movie figures are complete and I still have their boxes however the boxes might not be in the greatest shape anymore.) figures to them I would love to...plus my whole lot of G1 I would.

Do they give much money for older loose Beast wars and G1 figures?....some of mine are missing parts too...as I was still a child when I was playing with all these figures in question. The majority of my G1 collection is second hand because I started playing with them when I 3 in '87 but by the time in 90, 91 when I was 5,6 years old they had stopped selling them...and so I would search garage sales every weekend with my allowance in hopes of finding my favorite characters....usually the ones I got were even missing parts from their origina owners. Anyways...enough with my life story...lol sorry guys....

Does anyone think these figures would be worth even attempting to sell to BBTS? It'd be hard to part with any of it for sentimental reasons alone, but I really have no interest in actually displaying or even playing with my old G1 toys, save a certain few. so putting the old ones towards great new things like the CC would be worth it......with the characters being redone and better articulated in lines such as classics/masterpiece/alternators I find the new stuff way more fun to play with.

Last question...promise....How do you go about trading and selling to BBTS? And do any other Online toy retailers/specialists do business like this as well??

My SS is loose. All my figs im selling are. If you wanna know more email them with what you have to sale here vintage(at)bigbadtoystore.com and let them know what all you have for sale. They give more for store credit but they do give cash via paypal or business checks.
