Ahh, ok, so they won't be going to like TRU or Target or anything.

I've got prime on preorder from bbts because I accidentially forgot to cancel my preorder for ml soundwave and the headphones. so when that came in, I was like, wtf I don't want this, but they charge your card immediately, so I've now got $140 in store credit, and this seemed like a reasonable thing to get with it.

nope. Although we've seen the Hasbro Commemorative Series I Ultra Magnus resurface. That should have been long dead for 4+ years now.

I pre-ordered the entire Encore series, except for Megatron. I want to see which retailer will stock him unmodified.

Of course. But they still degrade with use, and they're usually using more than one mold at a time to press copies.

Hehe, I bet they're recasting molds as we speak. I also bet we'll have fresh Convoy reissues up until 2015 pretty much every two years or so, considering the sequels to the movie. That cow is alive and well, milk away.

And yes, I'm getting the Encore stuff. :)

They're never gonna let the molds to prime and megatron deteriorate. they're too important, not only historically, but the prime mold is the only thing keeping takara tomy in business.

Dude, tell your bro to transform Megatron carefully as he can be fragile! :D

What you posted is so funny, sad and true - to a certain extent of course! XD

If they charge exact shipping cost I'd certainly buy from them :)  Only once I had a single toy shipped from Japan by EMS (Battle Convoy repaint Magnus) and it cost 4000yen.

Did I write somewhere that only TFs he has are RM Rije and Micron Legend Double Face?
He's a collector himself, so I trust him, though. I am worried if I can TF Megs alright without the instructions. Oh and I won't be having the box, either :(

But Megatron's different...trust me, my G1 Megs broke in 86 when a friend tried transforming him...at the next time I got him was during his FIRST reissue! Sucks for me, huh?

Well HLJ EMS chart shows that a 2 kg package is 4000 Yen. And they also tell you that for 2-4 medium sized items (like the encores) the packing materials will be 400-600g. So I'm hoping that the whole kit will be 1.5 kg or less. Which would be 3200 Yen.

Well at least they clearly distinguish themselves through stamping and box design.

Yeah, people are still buying Prime, because his reissues skyrocket in price so fast that he's out of their budget within days.

for example, I just pre-ordered the set of four from TFsource. these will be my FIRST reissues of these guys ever. so I'm ecstatic. I havent even touched a Megatron in something like 20 years. been seven years since I had a Soundwave (that I ended up reselling, and it wasnt even complete), and the only Prime I have is still sealed and stuffed away in storage where it's safe. I still have my first Starscream, but its his body only. all removable parts are long gone. he was my first transformer ever.

I cannot fucking wait to get these things. all four for less than a TFC Convoy costs now. hell damn yes. I was so excited to drop the money in my checking account for them that I got sick twice on the way there.

and I ordered with TFsource because if TFC-06 Megatron and MP Megatron were any indication, they have the best shot (aside from agesthreeandup, being in canada and all) of getting Encore Megatron into the country un-modded or with an easily removable plug, where BBTS will probably stick that damn-near invincible plug into Megatron like they did with the re-release of TFC-06.
