    Throttler - Transformers Wiki

OHMYGOD that is just so damn awesome

click words that show up under throttlers picture in the top right corner of the page and see who it takes you to on tfwiki.net

to think that the guy who gave life and voice to the late great kamina also does voice work in transformers

now if we coudl jsut get a english speaking actor to voice a transformer character in that same way all around.

Hmmm... It's almost like drill-based weapons have a history in anime and transformers, and that the wiki is known for using "witty" jokes in it's picture captions, often referencing other unrelated pop culture franchises...

    ...But that'd be crazy.

Geno, I know Gurren Lagann is your total supreme obsession at this point, but you DO realize the Giga Drill Break, like pretty much everything else in Gurren Lagann, is a deliberate reference to a trope or recurring concept in the history of mecha anime, right? Most of the drillpunches you see are not referencing Gurren Lagann, they're referencing the history of animation that Gurren Lagann is also drawing from.

And if you're looking for Gurren Lagann references in Transformers, why not look in Animated, where there are actual deliberate references to Gurren Lagann that have been acknowledged by the creative staff of the show?

I always made Gurren Lagann references with Throttler and Sledge.
