So I find myself in need of spending $520 in Credit Card rewards before they expire. So far I'm considering a new video card for my PC, or a 16GB new iPad.

My current PC setup is GTX 560 SLI which plays everything so far at highest settings. If I get the GTX 670, its faster then my current SLI setup, and I can move my SLI to my second computer and have two gaming computers! Since building my new computer I've actually made time to complete 3 games on the PC. So I know I will use it if I get it.

As for the New iPad, I'm honestly not much of an IOS guy, but I'm pretty impressed with retina display. I already have an HP Touchpad with Android, and honestly it does take care of my tablet needs. But Apple makes nice stuff. Of all the IOS products the iPad has been the only one to tempt me.

So what do you guys say I should get?

no one needs more than one tablet- although everyone could use another gaming PC for LAN battles!

Which one do you see using more? That's the one you should get. Although since you do have a tablet, I think the video card is the better option for you, here.

I don't see the 670 beating the 560 sli by much. At least go 680 to make it more worthwhile. Guess it depends how much they are though.

The ipad is nice, but you already have a tablet and Steam's summer sale is coming. Go for that 670 and max out some sweet sweet PC games!

I'll throw my vote in for the new video card, get the beefiest one you can accord with the rewards.

Go with the card! Can you also invest your own money and bump it to a 680? Would be the best way to make the most use of the opportunity.

670s are a beast for the money, 680s really arent worth the extra dough unless you NEED the slight upgrade. You'll have 100 bucks left over for other things like games too.

I'd say the card any day. Or send me one :lol

Thanks for the input everyone! I'm going with the 670, I was just curious if anyone could make a good iPad argument that I hadn't considered.

As for the 670 vs 680 vs my 560 SLI.

    My machine is a i7-2600k @ 4.2GHz, 16GB RAM

    Batman - Arkham City, 4xAA, extreme settings @ 1920*1080

    GTX 560 SLI 45 FPS
    GTX 670 92 FPS
    GTX 680 96 FPS
    GTX 670 (overclocked) 108 FPS!

Battlefield 3, Ultra settings, FXAA High, 1920*1080

    GTX 560 SLI 49 FPS
    GTX 670 92 FPS
    GTX 680 98 FPS
    GTX 670 (overclocked) 105 FPS!

I fully plan on overclocking the card, and as you can see I'll get almost a 40-55% increase in FPS from a single card, and I can always go SLI later. Plus for the time being my computer will be next to silent again, the SLI is really makes the case noisy. Not to mention the 670 is $100 cheaper then the 680! My old PC is a Core2Duo @ 3.9GHz with 4GB or ram so it should maintain around to 80-85% of the 560's performance, making it a very decent second gaming box.

I am with Autobot Burnout. Its better to hhave the thing that others have. In addition to that I would also like to say that if you are already having a tablet, then there is no need to get confused for the thing which you already have.

Got the 670 installed and running in Windows and OS X today! Man it's a long card, theres only about a millimeter of space between it, and my internal HD bay. It isn't fully supported in OS X yet, but it works well enough with the apps I use in Lion.
