    San Diego is burning again...

    http://www.cbs8.com/

So far my sinuses have been taken a beating from all the smoke and ash, I can't stop sneezing, my eyes are teary and red, a few of my friends have been evacuated from their homes and staying with me. This is nuts

    I didn't do it.

But my prayers are with all of our boardies who have homes or family/friends in the area. After Tuesday, it should become an easier battle.

My home is nowhere near the fire which is a blessing, but my prayer goes out to all who are affected by the fire.

I can see several fires in the nearby mountains from my deck. Pretty errie looking, but not as crazy as a few years ago when the whole mountain was going up in flames. Back then it looked like I was looking into Mordor. Also, the smoke was pretty heavy today, but the wind has died down so Im not smelling it as much at the moment.

My thought and prayers go out to those who are affected by these fires. I, myself, am worried because my sister goes to school in San Bernardino and I pray that she is doing fine. I can smell smoke and see it from where I am living.

Yeah the air quality has been terrible. I'm no way near the fires but because of the wind, we're getting that burnt smell in the air. I heard 40 homes got destroyed out in Malibu.

Yeah its bad out in malibu, its crazy here in San Diego too....but not as bad as last time. Although they say it has the potential to be worse.

It was weird waking up this morning. It felt like I was living in Mars. Everything was red. And it smelled like I was at a big cookout. Everything is COVERED in ash.

"When the hills of Los Angeles are burning" is currently playing on the computer, a bit morbidly eerie, even if it's more of a satire then anything meant literally.

That said, stay safe, anyone in the area.

While I was driving to work today at around 4:30 AM another fire by the 14 freeway started only a good 500ft. away from the road. This is getting pretty scary, I think some of this shit is arson though, no way it is all natural.

My brother-in-law's mom, sister, and dogs are all currently holed up at Qualcomm.

I've offered and they may come and stay with us in the next day or two.

    Scary shit.

I think one of the fires is close to reaching Six Flags Magic Mountain.

Haven't heard much about Santa Clarita. But I have heard that it's gone all the way to the coast (Solana Beach).

Just watched the YouTube video of the guy doing an interview in front of his destroyed home, I feel bad for him. I just hope everyone in So. Cal gets out safe and sound, my best wishes go out to all of them.

Looking down at the comments I was again reminded why I don't usually read comments from YouTube members...people on YouTube can be real jackasses sometimes leaving ignorant, and racist comments on something like that. When will people ever grow up?

The New York Times labels it as Fallbrook, California.
