.....who else from the HFTD line does the general consensus feel like fits well within the CUGRS (Classics, Universe, Generations, Reveal the Shield) style?

    Just wondering.

Also, does anyone know if this ever was released?-

I'd say Hubcap works the best. Yes he's a little on the thin side but the grill as the chest in robot mode just seems like something right out of the classics play book. Doesn't hurt that it's also a really cool car mode if you display him that way.

Nope. Looks like a movie toy is photo-bombing your classics shelf. :lol  Sea Spray and Breacher are like ROTF Bludgeon, in a cross over style. Highbrow is a straight movie toy like Battle blade BB and deluxe Ironhide.

I think Highbrow is more of the hybrid look. He is not as skeletal and organic as pure movie toys.

Several of the toys mentioned don't really fit.

But it doesn't really matter... if a toy looks good, buy it.

Who cares if it doesn't fit a particular 'aesthetic'.

Can't argue with this! Especially because alot of the bayformer classics style crossovers like Higbrow and Seaspray for example look absolutely incredible. Hell i cant wait to have lugnut in hand because i think he will fit with the figure mentioned so far but no shipping my POL yet.

Tomahawk and Terradive are on my Classics shelves. They fit in quite nicely. Lockdown, Bludgeon and Axor too.

Note: Highbrow's box actually has a Paramount logo on the back.

Did not notice that. I think its in part because his character is described as a Seeker like Jetfire. Still looks wise he just does not strike me as pure bayformer Just my opinion. Highbrow is a great figure either way!
