I used an oversized knockoff minicon Firebot for this one.

You can find the photo reference here.
Since I am not a native english speaker, I have a doubt: the Transformers wiki entry for Firebot refers to the alt mode as a "fire truck" but his recolor Supressor is said to be a "crash-response truck". However, this kind of vehicle is only refered to as "crash tender" in the regular wikipedia, and there is indeed much more widely refered to by that name over the internet. Is this a dialectal difference, as in truck - lorry?

    Anyways, on to the character:

    - - - -
    Name: Snozzle
    Function: Decepticon medic

    Strength: 5
    Intelligence: 7
    Speed: 5
    Endurance: 3
    Rank: 6
    Courage: 4
    Firepower: 2
    Skill: 9

Snozzle is a hard-headed old robot, with old-fashioned ideals. That's why he is in the decepticon ranks: he actually isn't so much convinced of the decepticon ways, but he won't buy the autobot "freedom for all" ideals. Anyways, his standards are "you are either with me or against me" so, he will always be in the decepticon side.
He is a skilled medic and a veteran, and is very appreciated within the decepticon ranks, although nobody wants to spend too many time with him.

The paint job is not quite good, but I hope you enjoy the looks and the background for this new character as much as I did creating him

It's a fire-suppressing crash-response truck. Specifically, it's an airport-based emergency vehicle which responds to airplane crashes by spraying fire-suppressing foam onto the wreckage.

So it's both a crash-response truck AND a firetruck. Sort of.

    > Geminii: thanks for the information! this is a very interesting vehicle, I loved it the first time it was released.

    > rattrap1024: I salute you, consider this character my humble tribute to all the firefighters.

    > Kusanagi: I really was having a headache thinking for a new name for this little guy. Finally I got the name "snozzle" from the wikipedia entry for the crash tenders.

I think the paintjob could use a little bit of work, but otherwise I think you've done a really nice job here! It's always cool to see an original character, and that's certainly the strength here. Snozzle FTW! :thumb
