We got hit with only a foot where I am at. Shoveled for an hour Saturday. Now the sidewalks and driveway are dry. Getting ready for the next round. Finally it's not us in the snow belt getting hit for a change.
We're supposed to get 6-10 inches of snow out of this next snowstorm. Supposed to start snowing tomorrow and last through Wednesday. I'm already dreading having to drive to my classes in this snowstorm. I'm hoping that they will cancel classes, but my college hardly ever cancels class on account of the snow.
Weatherman said that the heaviest snow will hit us about midnight tomorrow night. Just when I'm getting off work. Great!
THe latest numbers I heard about an hour ago are 10-12 inches from Tuesday afternoon to Weds morning Edit: Now WUSA9 is saying anywhere from 10-24 inches over the next 48 hour period!
yea this is nuts I just got my car shoveled out earlier today and were gonna get even more tonight but after being in Minnesota for about 2 years this is still the most snow ive ever seen
6 to 10 here so far. But they said something similar this weekend, and we ended up with almost 2 feet.
I spoke too soon yesterday. There's snow coming out my ass today. Ateast it's good snow, and it's not too cold.
I'm pissed off. I live in the subarbs of Chicago and my college website says it's open. Now, I have one class only which is a Gym class at 11.So, I'm stuck in my campus for a while.
About to coat up and go shovel. Do the driveway, a poop path for the dog, and the old man's porch/driveway accross the street. His little dog is cool
damn... i can't imagine all that snow... we got about an inch the other day here and it just about shut the city down... i can't imagine what people would do here if we got a foot of snow... no one even owns a snow shovel... i do wish it'd snow just a bit here, i'd love an extra day off from school... my students have been especially insane the last two weeks, so one day off would be nice...
