It has been snowing since early this morning. If it hadn't been 72 this week in Birmingham and the ground wasn't so warm, we probably would have gotten over 6". Right now we are at about 2" and it is still coming down fairly hard. Not as impressive as what Dark_Convoy and ChaosMuffin shared with us a few weeks back, but for a region that only gets MAYBE a dusting once a year or two, it's pretty neat. The roads are not a danger right now as the asphalt is still around 55 degrees. But here are some pics to share from our home:

Yeah, it's coming down like crazy here. Haven't seen it like this in years.

I remember those days. Even a hint of snow and you got milk and bread cleared out at the grocery store. Got so used to that growing up that when I moved here to PA, I was shocked to see everyone going around normally when there was 6 inches of snow on the ground.

I pulled into the parking lot of the grocery store today for a couple things and just kept on driving to the exit. You'd think they were giving stuff away. It looked like the mall on Black Friday. And there's only flurries right now (CT).

You think this is snow? Come to the frozen wastes of Canadia! Hell, your ground is barely covered.

But seriously, snow is pretty fun when you don't have to deal with 3 feet of it, so enjoy! Hopefully you guys will get enough that will stay frozen long enough to build snowmen or forts or inappropriate parts of the human anatomy out of it. Oddly enough though, its sunny and like 10 degrees C here.

Ironically, there's no snow on the ground where I'm at now.

You have a really pretty house man, love that driveway & those big windows.
Ok, the house hunting has totally revamped my thinking :lol
Hope that little tree in front of the window does'nt come alive like in poltergeist

Looks like the snow we got after the ice storm ( few days ago) which was perfect since the ground was so warm.

Not much snow fell in Brandon last night early this morning. Now it's all gone, as if it never fell in the first place.

For once I would like some snow on Christmas, and not just around it.

It doesnt snow in the winter here no more, just in the spring or fall :lol

    Thanks Muffin!

It quit snowing around 12:30, and now it is ALL gone except for a bit on the roof. Funny thing is, it's suppose to be 70 by Tuesday. WTH? We got to about 5 inches too, after I posted the pics it started coming down HARD. It's nice every now and then but I love warm weather too much to live up north.

Yeah, you guys probably wouldn't want to move up north where you can get more snow. Right now, I'd give anything to be someplace warm... Florida. Florida sounds good right about now.
