We had 6-7 inches today (I know its not a big deal to you canadians but we Welsh are used to our moderate climate) had aaaaaal kinds of fund and games getting in and out of work but it's all good views from my house: and there's even more to come in the morning.................
Good that you got out of work but sucks about all the snow. It's 82 degrees and sunny where I'm at right now. Perfect weather for walking around in shorts and short sleeved shirts.
Blech! It's fuckin' A hot outside man. It's probably a little warmer than that here, upper 80s. Which granted, is 20 degrees cooler than what we're in for in 6 months, but it feels hotter since we just had like an entire week of gray/cloudy/cold/wet days, which is far, far preferrable to this nonsense.
I love the heat man...granted summers can get too hot, but I still prefer that to the cold, that and the longer days. Two years ago we had one of the best summers that I can remember, the temperature never got above 98 for the entire summer. I got such a nice tan that year from going out almost every day to play disc golf or basketball.
You guys got but a mere dusting. I wish we'd get more snow here. We've only had three serious snowfalls, and now it's starting to hit the 60's ... which makes for absolutely gorgeous days, but it's so damn dry.
I'm totally the opposite. I was practically nocturnal even before I got a job where I go in at 4pm and get off at midnight. Longer days just mean losing valuable night. And I hate heat. When it's cold, you can put on 32 layers until you're warm. When it's 106 degrees, all you can do is sweat your ass right off...especially when your car has no AC, which none of mine ever have for more than a summer or two before crapping out completely. Ideally, it would be overcast, cool and wet 24/7. And it just hit 92 in DFW, evidently breaking a 100+ year old record for the day. ZOMG, GlOBAl WaRMinG!!
I love snowdays, I get off school. We got about 4-5 inches by me at the moment, but its getting warmer and all melting.
No kidding. That reminds me of when Dallas gets a few inches and the city SHUTS DOWN. Hell, anything less than a foot doesn't even require boots.
Yea but Dallas has about two of the trucks that drive around scattering salt on the roads so a few inches of ice is pretty dangerous when none of the roads have salt or sand on them and no one has snow tires of their cars.
FYI the house in the photo is the hospital behind us (I wish I had a house that big lol) and also just because the traction control has a 'snow' button doesn't mean you can park without getting stuck! had lots of sideways fun though
