Your shift and punctuation keys are frozen up! :(

I got the pleasure of a dead battery in ten below zero with wind earlier this week. Got to use my jumper cables until I could get a Die Hard from Sears.

PROTIP: go for a drive before you swap out the battery and it's below freezing. That way it's warm enough under the hood for your fingers to work the whole time it takes to get the new battery bolted down. Gloves are too fumbly and slow to work a wrench.

Been brutally cold in Chicagoland since we got a foot of snow on Christmas Night into the 26th. A few more inches down since then. Warming up a little, but we're due to get 6-12 inches more starting tonight before it gets near zero again.

The snow piles on the sides of my driveway are starting to get too high. Is spring here yet?

For the first time ever, I've actually been snowed in. I'm at my parents house in the countryside and we got a foot of snow last night. Should have asked for a snow plow or some huskies for Christmas!...

Had this happen when I stayed overnight at my mom in laws. Oh and also had to change out the alternator along with the battery. My fingers were purple when I was done.

Here in Pennsylvania, it's dropping dropping and shows no sign of stopping stopping. There's about two feet of white evil on the ground, and the roads are deplorable.

I used to live in Minneapolis, over by Stevens Square. That was back in 1996; I was going to Music Tech on Washington. On cold Minnesota nights, I used to walk over to Nye's Pollanaise Room and polka my butt off.

Well guys I know you folks up north have alot of bitter cold and snow but here in ALA we don't get snow but it is cold though just not bitter cold. Well this first start of the year, its goin to hit the single digits and around 30degrees durning the day. Thats cold for the southern states if anyone knows anything about the south. Right know at 12:30 lunch here it is 28 degrees and normally it would be a bit warmer then that.

LOL my poor Brit friend, a foot is business as usual in Canada. We consider it snowed it when we're over two feet of snow.

But I'll admit, it's great to have a SUV in this type of weather.

Around here in Washington state we've had a very mild winter. One week it was pretty cold for around here but I didn't get snow. Everything else has been surprisingly temperate but with a lot of rain. I would rather have it cooler with snow, honestly.

On the plus side, the snow covers all the dog poop in my backyard.
