So we know the Bizzaro saga will continue, but they are also introducing Supergirl. Supposedly, it will be the old-school Kara Zor-El, cousin of Superman.

Smallville will rock this season. I hear they start filming next week and Michael Rosenbaum will be there too. I heard that last season was his last... I guess not.

Supergirls cute! Cannot wait for the new season. I doubt Lana in dead. Shes too imprortant of a character, even when Clark finally moves to the big city.

 

I would love to see them use Power Girl, just to see what actress could "fill" out that role.

One of the hottest topics over the summer is what is up with Kristin Kreuk's Smallville contract. This discussion has been further fueled by E! Online saying they're still "negotiating" about her future on the show.

The fact of the matter is this: Chances are, if a decision has been made regarding Kristin, it was probably made a while back. Kristin IS on the Season 7 cast list, so unless that's a fake spoiler put out there to throw us off the scent, she'll be back. Also, remember that this time three years ago, Allison Mack was telling fans at Comic-Con that Chloe had departed the show.

The producers and the network are probably going to want us to keep wondering, because hey, it's publicity. Who knows - maybe we won't have a definitive answer until the season itself begins."

Lana and the van was just too convenient. Of course, that's just another day in Smallville.

 

They are also saying that the Justice League will be back, but the Batman embargo is still in place.

 

I don't think WB/DC wants anything else touching it's new, high-brow Batman franchise. Hence the embargo, and the idea that any JLA movie that happens witll not include Batman.

 

Rumor has it that at least one JL movie stipulation was in Bale's Batman multi-picture contract.
